Day 1 - Cologne (Germany)
Embark your ship in Cologne. Enjoy a Welcome Cocktail followed by a Welcome Dinner this evening.
Day 2 - Koblenz - Rudesheim
Stop at Koblenz, set at the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine rivers. An optional guided walk through the town's romantic streets passes the Emperor Wilhelm Memorial and the iconic Schangel Fountain. Spend the afternoon cruising through the spectacular winter landscapes of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley and past the legendary Lorelei Rock to Rudesheim where there is an optional trip to Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum. Or perhaps stroll along the famous, narrow cobblestone street 'Drosselgasse', before enjoying a cup of Rudesheimer Coffee, a specialty coffee made with brandy.
Day 3 - Speyer
There is an optional excursion to Heidelberg with a visit to the castle and the Christmas market. In medieval Speyer, renowned for its impressive Romanesque Imperial Church, there is the chance to visit the traditional Christmas market.
Day 4 - Strasbourg (France)
Explore the half-timbered houses of Strasbourg in the Alsace region. Perhaps join a guided walk of the Old Town and the medieval Petite France district, or drive through the wintery landscapes of Alsace to the village of Gertwiller, famous for its Lebkuchen (Christmas gingerbreads). After an included glass of Glühwein the tour continues to the magical little town of Obernai to stroll through the old quarter – delightfully decorated for Christmas.
Day 5 - Strasbourg
