Day 1 - UK - Amsterdam (Holland)
Fly from the UK and embark ship in Amsterdam. Enjoy a Welcome Concert on board by the Dudok Quartet.
Day 2 - Amsterdam - Utrecht
Join the guided city of Amsterdam and enjoy a concert in the Dominicuskerk (Dominican Church) by the Dudok Quartet. Rejoin the ship in Utrecht.
Day 3 - Cologne (Germany) - Bonn
Cologne is steeped in history with a majestic Gothic Cathedral that can be seen on the optional city walking tour. Sail to Bonn to visit Beethoven’s house and enjoy a private piano recital by Martin Ivanov.
Day 4 - Cochem
The ship cruises down the picturesque Moselle river to beautiful Cochem. Discover Cochem's narrow winding streets, mysterious alleyways and magnificent churches on an optional guided city walk followed by a tasting of some of the region's superb Mosel wines. This evening there is an exclusive concert on board by the virtuoso Nathan Quartet.
Day 5 - Koblenz - Rudesheim
Arrive in Koblenz at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers this morning and see the key sights on a guided walking tour including St Castor Basilica, the Church of our Beloved Lady and the memorial of Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm. This afternoon, relax on board with a 'Musical Tea Party' with the Nathan Quartet as you cruise the beautiful Upper Middle Rhine Valley to Rudesheim where there is an optional visit to Siegfried's famous Mechanical Music Museum.
Day 6 - Speyer
Enjoy an optional walking tour of Speyer, renowned for its Cathedral, then join the included afternoon excursion to the university city of Heidelberg. Captain's Gala Dinner on board tonight.
Day 7 - Strasbourg (France)
This morning, arrive in Strasbourg, capital of Alsace. A city tour features highlights including the striking Straburger Munster cathedral and the medieval Petite France quarter, with a private concert by organist Daniel Maurer at St Thomas Church. This evening there is a farewell Concert on board by the Stuttgarter String Quartet celebrating the music of Mozart and Dvorak.
Day 8 - Basel (Switzerland) - UK
Disembark ship in Basel and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
