Day 1 - New Orleans (Louisiana, USA)
Embark your ship in New Orleans.
Day 2 - Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge, Louisiana's state capital, was named over 300 years ago by French explorer Iberville. The city's rich international, cultural tradition is reflected through its African-American and Caribbean influenced architecture, experienced through its fiery Creole and Cajun cuisine, and heard in their soulful Blues and Cajun style music. Experience the affluent atmosphere of Rosedown Plantation where a resident expert will explain the history of the house and the families that have lived there.
Day 3 - Natchez (Mississippi)
Overlooking the Mississippi River, Natchez was first established as a French fort site in 1716, later becoming part of the United States as the first capital of Mississippi in 1817. Perched over 200 feet above the Mississippi River with 30-mile views along the river both north and south, the bluff of Natchez is the place to marvel in the beauty and grandeur of the river. A quaint southern town rich in culture, history, and known for its abundance of antebellum architecture, Natchez offers true southern hospitality with the attractions of a small city. Explore Longwood, an elegant historic house which is still a work in progress.
Day 4 - Vicksburg
Around every corner, history is alive in Vicksburg. Civil war battlefields, cotton fields and restored train depots are just a few of the many intriguing landmarks that await your visit. Marvel in the beautiful antebellum style homes and watch Vicksburg's history come to life on a guided tour of Vicksburg National Military Park
Day 5 - Cruising the Mississippi
Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day cruising the Mississippi.
Day 6 - Memphis (Tennessee)
Memphis, the largest city in Tennessee, offers attractions for curious tourists, hungry gourmets or history buffs including music museums, Elvis Presley's Graceland, art galleries and the Memphis Zoo. In the heart of 'Blues City' you'll find the Peabody Memphis, one of the city's most popular attractions. This legendary hotel is famous for its Peabody Ducks which march to and from the Grand Lobby. There is the opportunity to tour Graceland, home of Elvis Presley (extra cost).
Day 7 - New Madrid (Missouri)
Founded in 1776 by Spanish Governor Esteban Rodriguez, today New Madrid is a living monument to early American history with notable sites including the Kochtitsky Home, the Trail of Tears and Veterans Park.
Day 8 - Paducah (Kentucky)
From quilting and shopping to learning about Civil War history, there is plenty to do in Paducah. Perhaps take an optional excursion which includes a city tour and visit to the National Quilt Museum or alternatively there is also the chance to visit the River Discovery Centre.
Day 9 - Cruising the Mississippi
Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day cruising the Mississippi.
Day 10 - St Louis (Missouri)
Known as the Gateway to the West, St Louis boasts a scenic riverfront dominated by the majestic Gateway Arch, the tallest man-made monument in the USA. St. Louis’ world-class attractions include the Art Museum, Science Center, Anheuser-Busch Brewery and the Missouri History Museum. Explore St Louis on a guided city tour.
Day 11 - St Louis
Disembark ship in St Louis.
