Hanoi to Siem Reap Itinerary

Day 1 - UK

Make your way to London Heathrow for your flight to Vietnam.

Day 2 - Hanoi (Vietnam)

On arrival in Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel only a short walk from the old quarter.

Day 3 - Hanoi

Take in Hanoi on a guided sightseeing tour, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and historic Ba Dinh Square. Afterwards, an Insider Experience awaits. For dinner, perhaps choose from one of our select dining experiences.

Day 4 - Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

After breakfast, travel to Ha Long. Set off cruising and explore the mysterious Trinh Nu Cave.

Day 5 - Ha Long Bay

After breakfast, enjoy kayaking at Ba Ham Lake before lunch, followed by a sightseeing trip to Cua Van Floating Culture Centre. Later, savour dinner on board.

Day 6 - Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City

Visit Sung Sot Cave before docking back at Ha Long. Board your included flight to Ho Chi Minh City. A delicious dinner awaits you tonight.

Day 7 - Ho Chi Minh City

Discover the military history of the area. Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, built by the Viet Cong during the war.

Day 8 - Ho Chi Minh City

Drive to My Tho Port and board your river ship. Tonight, enjoy your first dinner prepared by your onboard chef.

Day 9 - Cai Be - Sa Dec

Today, take a local boat to the town of Cai Be, then cruise to Sa Dec. Tour Huynh Thuy Le’s old house, before visiting an ornate Cao Dai Temple.

Day 10 - Tan Chau

Explore the village of Tan Chau. Go ashore for a rickshaw tour and visit a local island. Later, relax as you cross the border into Cambodia towards Phnom Penh.

Day 11 - Phnom Penh (Cambodia)

Visit the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. After lunch on board, tour the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.

Day 12 - Oudong - Koh Chen

Disembark and travel by coach to Oudong for an Insider Experience. Then continue to Koh Chen to see the open-air copperware workshops.

Day 13 - Oknha Tey

Disembark for a village tour of Oknha Tey, known for its traditional silk weaving. Set sail for Angkor Ban this afternoon.

Day 14 - Angkor - Koh Pen

Enjoy an immersive tour of Angkor Ban, one of the few traditional villages left in Cambodia. After lunch, enjoy an Insider Experience.

Day 15 - Kampong Cham - Siem Reap

Transfer to Siem Reap and join in on an Insider Experience. Later, discover the atmospheric Ta Prohm temple where the jungle grows within the temple walls.

Day 16 - Siem Reap

After a morning at leisure in Siem Reap, visit the ancient Bayon Temple. This evening, enjoy sunset at Angkor Wat before savouring a delicious Farewell Dinner.

Day 17 - Siem Reap

Your journey ends this morning. You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Day 18 - UK

Arrive back in London today.

Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City Itinerary

Day 1 - UK

Make your way to London Heathrow for your flight to Vietnam.

Day 2 - Hanoi (Vietnam)

On arrival, be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3 - Hanoi

Day 6 - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Siem Reap (Cambodia)

Explore Sung Sot Cave, the 10,000-square-metre cave threaded by a 500-metre paved passageway, before docking back at Ha Long. Travel to Hanoi airport for your included flight to Siem Reap.

Day 7 - Siem Reap

Today you will discover Ta Prohm temple. The temple and its atmospheric surrounds have been left to slowly return to nature, with the overgrown jungle and vast root systems creating a unique sight throughout the ruins. This evening, enjoy local flavours during dinner.

Day 8 - Siem Reap

This afternoon, visit Angkor Archaeological Park and the Bayon Temple. End the day watching a sunset at Angkor Wat.

Day 9 - Siem Reap - Kampong Cham

Transfer to Kampong Cham to board the RV Apsara. Later, delight in an Insider Experience.

Day 10 - Angkor Ban - Oknha Tey

Enjoy an immersive walking tour of Angkor Ban. Return to your ship and continue sailing towards Oknha Tey. Disembark and discover the town, well known locally for its delicate silk weaving.

Day 11 - Oknha Tey - Phnom Penh

Cruise to Phnom Penh then travel by coach to Oudong for a special Insider Experience. Afterwards, see Koh Chen and explore the open-air copperware workshops.

Day 12 - Phnom Penh

See the Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. After, tour Phnom Penh and the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.

Day 13 - Tan Chau (Vietnam)

Relax on board as your ship cruises to the Vietnamese border. Later, arrive in Tan Chau.

Day 14 - Tan Chau - Sa Dec

Travel along the tributaries around Tan Chau, then go ashore for a rickshaw tour, visit a small island and local artisan workshops.

Day 15 - Sa Dec - Cai Be

Visit Huynh Thuy Le’s old house in Sa Dec. After, go to Cai Be to see the French Gothic Cathedral, a local rice paper manufacturer and coconut candy factory. Tonight, enjoy a final dinner onboard.

Day 16 - Ho Chi Minh City

Disembark at My Tho Port today and travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Finish the day in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 17 - Ho Chi Minh City

Today, explore Ho Chi Minh City at leisure before a Farewell Dinner tonight to round off your holiday.

Day 18 - Ho Chi Minh City

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Day 19 - UK

Arrive back in London today.
