WBB - Three Capitals Cruise from Vienna Itinerary
Day 1 - Vienna (Austria)
Embark at 6pm and settle into your cabin. Presentation of the crew during the welcome cocktail and dinner on board this evening.
Day 2 - Melk
Arrive in Melk in the morning and perhaps take the optional excursion to Melk's beautiful Benedictine abbey. Return on board for lunch and cruise the beautiful Wachau Valley towards Durnstein, arriving early afternoon. Free time in Durnstein or optional guided tour. Return on board and cruise towards Bratislava.
Day 3 - Bratislava (Slovakia)
Arrive in Bratislava and perhaps take the optional tour of the city, taking in baroque palaces and shaded squares. There is a second optional excursion available - a guided hike through the Little Carpathians, taking in Devin Castle . Return on board for lunch and cruise towards Kalocsa in Hungary. Afternoon of cruising and dinner on board.
Day 4 - Kalocsa (Hungary)
After breakfast on board the ship will arrive in Kalosca. Optional excursion to to the Puzsta, including a horse show. Return on board for lunch. Afternoon and cruising towards Budapest the 'Pearl of Danube'.
Day 5 - Budapest
Spend some free time in Budapest or take the optional guided tour of the city. Discover Buda with its impressive Baroque buildings and Pest, with its mix of architectural styles. Perhaps take the alternative optional excursion which is a guided bike ride through the city. This is also an optional excursion to visit the Gellert Baths and Spa. After dinner on board, there is a free evening or an optional traditional show in Budapest.
Day 6 - Budapest - Esztergom
Arrival early morning in Esztergom. Free visit to Esztergom, first capital of Hungary under the Arpad dynasty. Esztergom is a city which offers wonderful architecture. Lunch on board followed by an afternoon of cruising before this evening's Gala Dinner.
Day 7 - Vienna (Austria)
The ship arrives back in Vienna early this morning. After breakfast you may wish to take the optional guided tour of Vienna and Schoenbrunn Castle. A second optional excursion includes a guided walk through the city and visit to the Konzerthaus concert hall. Return on board for lunch. Free afternoon or optional guided tour of Hofburg: the Habsbourg Palace. Return on board for dinner. In the evening, there is the option to attend a concert of Viennese music (optional and subject to availability).
Day 8 - Vienna
Disembark after breakfast on board.
