Day 1 - UK - Nuremberg (Germany)
Fly from the UK to Nuremberg where you will be met by a representative on arrival and transferred to Nuremberg to embark your ship. (D)
Day 2 - Nuremberg
Discover Nuremberg on a guided city tour. Walk through the old quarter past half-timbered houses and visit the Christkindlesmarkt which has over 200 stalls. Enjoy the Captain's Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner this evening. (B,L,D)
Day 3 - Regensburg
A guided walking tour of Regensburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, includes the Cathedral of St Peter, the Town Hall and the 12th century Stone Bridge. Then visit the delightful Christmas Markets at the Castle of Thurn and Taxis. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - Passau
Take some time today to explore the beautifully expansive and heavily wooded Bavarian Forest. As the largest continuous forested region in Europe, there’s plenty to uncover—like unspoiled landscapes, abundant wildlife and idyllic atmosphere. Day 5 - Linz (Austria)
See the sights of Linz on foot with visit to the Christmas market, or head to a local farm for a cider tasting. (B,L,D)
Day 6 - Durnstein - Vienna
Cruise through the UNESCO World Heritage-designated Wachau Valley to the baroque village of Durnstein where you will see the ruins of the 12th-century castle where Richard the Lionheart was held. Enjoy a guided tour before an exclusive mulled wine tasting and organ concert. Cruise on to Vienna, the City of Waltzes. (B,L,D)
Day 7 - Vienna
Travel along the Ringstrasse on a panoramic tour and see St Stephen's Cathedral where Mozart was married and the magnificent Winter Palace, a stunning example of Baroque architecture. You'll have plenty of time to explore the quaint Christmas markets. There is also the option to indulge in the 'Taste of Christmas' with a special tour on Graben and Kohlmarkt streets where windows are filled with confectionery. Day 8 - Vienna - UK
Disembark the ship and transfer to Vienna Airport for your return flight to the UK.
