Natural Wonders of the Amazon Special Offer

Discover the heart of the Amazon on this unique expedition cruise from Cayenne.

Cruise the Atlantic Coast of Brazil and along the Guajara River, a tributary of the mighty Amazon River. Its fast flowing waters are edged by a handful of dwellings, and in the narrow band of forest it is possible to observe sloths and green iguanas.

You'll then begin cruising the Amazon River, home to an array of flora and fauna, as well as traditional villages with stilt houses. Zodiac landings will allow you to experience daily life and get up close to a rich diversity of wildlife.

Keep an eye out for pink river dolphins during your time in pretty Santarem at the confluence of the Tapajos and Amazon Rivers, enjoy a performance from the traditional Boi Bumba festival in Parintins, and navigate the Strait of Breves to Belem with its lively open-air market. Continue to the once notorious Salvation Islands, now peaceful islands where coconut palms cast shade over the crystal clear waters.
