Normandy River Cruises

Most cruises along the River Seine offer an excursion to visit the World War II Normandy Landing Beaches. On 6th June 1944, the Allies landed around 160,000 troops on the beaches along the Normandy coast of France at five strategic points - this date became known as D-Day. It was seen to be the beginning of the end of World War II.
