Kizhi Island River Cruises

Kizhi is one of over a thousand islands in Lake Onega and is the largest open-air museum in Russia. There are dozens of remarkable wooden buildings to see, constructed without nails. Some are local to the island and others were moved to Kizhi in the 1950s. The famous three-tiered Preobranzhenskaya (Transfiguration) Church has 32 domes.
