Chalon sur Saone River Cruises

This quaint town beside the Saône is a pleasant place to taste a glass of Burgundy whilst admiring the half-timbered buildings of St Vincent's quarter. Châlon is known for Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, who made the first photograph in 1825 and there is a fascinating photography museum here.
