Cruise in style along the southern coast of Vietnam on 49-passenger Panorama II from the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh to the glorious beaches of Danang.

This small-ship adventure cruise visits destinations including Phan Tiet, home of the enormous reclining Buddha, Mui Nu which boasts impressive sand dunes and the delightful Fairy Spring waterfall and Bau Truc, the oldest pottery village in South East Asia. See architecture which dates back to the 11th century in Nha Trang and the Twin Cham Towers in Qui Nhon.

There is also the opportunity to snorkel or paddle board in the shimmering waters and relax on the sun-kissed white sand beaches, combining discovery and relaxation on this week-long cruise.

South Vietnam Cruise Itinerary

Day 1 - UK - Ho Chi Minh City

Fly from the UK to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer from the airport to a central hotel, then transfer on to the port to embark Panorama II. Enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Phan Tiet

Enjoy a cable car ride to the Linh Son Truong Pagoda, the biggest reclining Buddha in Vietnam. Later, visit the Fairy Spring, a lovely waterfall and stroll along the sand dunes of Mui Ne, an amazing geological wonder.

Day 3 - Phan Rang - Nha Trang

Start the day with a bus journey to the vibrant beach side town of Nha Trang where you can explore the grand Po Klong Garai Cham Towers, an elaborate work of architecture dating back to around 1400 under King Jaya Simhavarman III. Next, head to the unique Bau Truc village which happens to be the oldest pottery village in South East Asia! Soak up the culture and see traditional Vietnamese pottery methods at work before re-boarding the Panorama II in Nha Trang and staying overnight in port.

Day 4 - Nha Trang

Known as the 'Cannes of the Orient' due to its cosmopolitan seaside atmosphere, Nha Trang offers a six-kilometre stretch of stunning coastline, pristine white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. This morning, discover the local town with a guided walking tour before spending the afternoon at leisure, perhaps relax on the picturesque beach or venture further into the city. Sail overnight to Quy Nhnon.

Day 5 - Quy Nonh

Spend the morning exploring the Quang Trung museum before watching a Tay Son martial arts demonstration and visiting the Twin Cham Towers. This afternoon, head to the glorious Quy Nonh beaches where the fishermen use traditional basket boats. This evening dine aboard the Panorama II whilst sailing north.

Day 6 - Dao Ly Son Island

Enjoy a day of relaxation as you cruise around the charming Dao Ly Son Island which boasts a magnificent coastline and idyllic beaches. Spend the afternoon, snorkelling, kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding from the Panorama II. Lunch on board today.

Day 7 - Hoi An

Travel by coach to the delightful town of Hoi An. Immerse yourself in the local culture by taking part in a guided tour, or take an optional traditional Vietnamese cooking class or bike riding tour. Enjoy a farewell dinner this evening. Overnight at sea to Danang.

Day 8 - Danang - UK

Disembark Panorama II in Danang and transfer to the Peregrine hotel, before continuing to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Day 9 - UK

Arrive back in the UK.
