Day 1 - UK - Malaga (Spain)
Fly from the UK to Malaga and embark your ship. Welcome cocktail and dinner on board. Overnight in port.
Day 2 - Motril
Early morning sailing to Motril for an optional full day excursion to Granada to visit the spectacular Alhambra Palace complex. There is also time to visit the Cathedral with its Royal Chapel and the Monastery of La Cartuja. Overnight cruising to Puerto Banus.
Day 3 - Puerto Banus
Arrive in Porto Banus for an optional excursion to Ronda, a historic city which retains much of its charm. Enjoy a visit to the beautiful Plaza Duquesa de Parcent, home to two ornate churches and the toy town bell tower of Iglesia Santa Maria de Mayor. The excursion also calls at Marbella. Overnight in port.
Day 4 - Gibraltar (UK)
Today's optional excursion explores the Rock with its amazing views. Head to the Top Station, before descending to the Middle Station and the sanctuary of Gibraltar's Barbary Apes. You'll then drive to Princess Caroline's Battery and the entrance to the Great Siege Tunnels. Finally, head to the Gibraltar Museum. Overnight at sea.
Day 5 - Guadalquivir River (Spain) - Seville
Sail up the Guadalquivir River today and arrive in Seville. Highlights of this beautiful city include the Alcazar Palace and its Andalusian gardens, the Cathedral and the quaint district of Santa Cruz. Overnight in port.
Day 6 - Seville - Jerez de la Frontera - Cadiz
Today there is an optional full day excursion in Seville and to Jerez de la Frontera which is famous for its wines, flamenco and horse breeding. Alternatively, stay onboard and cruise to Cadiz, the oldest continuously inhabited city in Spain. Overnight at sea to Portimao.
Day 7 - Portimao (Portugal)
Arrive in Portimao, from where you can explore Silves on an optional excursion and discover the ancient Moorish castle complex, 13th-century cathedral, 15th-century bridge and Museu Arqueológico. From Silves travel to the picturesque city of Monchique with its cobbled streets, artisan shops and 17th-century Franciscan monastery. Return to Portimao for a late lunch and swim stop. Overnight in port.
Day 8 - Portimao - Lisbon - UK
Disembark your ship in Portimao and transfer to Lisbon for your return flight to the UK.
