Day 1 - UK - Athens (Greece)

Fly from the UK to Athens. Embark Seven Seas Voyager in Athens.

Day 2 - Santorini

Admire the awe-inspiring views of beautiful Santorini with its classic whitewashed houses, striking blue domes and lovely beaches of white and red sand. Visit Ancient Akrotiri, an incredible archaeological site of a town frozen in time by a volcanic eruption 3,600 years ago. Alternatively, enjoy a guided tour of Santorini's highlights. See the different layers of lava the volcano produced in every phase of its activity on the way to Oia before wandering through the cobblestone streets and admiring the traditional Cycladic architecture. Then ascend the colourful rocky sides of the caldera for panoramic views of Santorini before heading to the traditional village of Pyrgos.

Day 3 - Heraklion

Visit Knossos, which was once the capital of ancient Minoan Crete and features the impressive Palace of Knossos. the former seat of power of the legendary King Minos and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ruins and enjoy a walking tour of Knossos before returning to Heraklion. Alternatively, discover the magnificent mountain-fringed Lassithi plateau with its orchards, 7000 windmills and ancient villages.

Day 4 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 5 - Taormina (Sicily)

The city of Taormina which overlooks the imposing Mount Etna is a remarkable place which has inspired poets, writers and artists over the years. Perhaps spend the day at leisure visiting Taormina's highlights including the remarkably preserved Roman-style Greek Theatre which still hosts performances today and the splendid 15th century Palazzo Corvaia. Or perhaps enjoy a memorable visit to Mt Etna, one of the world's most renowned active volcanoes and Europe's largest. Ride along the scenic road that winds around the slope of the mountain, admire the amazing views across the Gulf of Catania and see Mt Etna's most spectacular highlights; the mighty crater and remnants of the awe-inspiring streams of lava from the 2001-2002 eruptions.

Day 6 - Amalfi (Italy) - Positano

Explore the lovely village of Positano which has colourful houses clinging to steep slopes around a sparkling bay and remarkably picturesque streets. Shop in the many boutiques for locally made clothes and unique souvenirs or visit enchanting Amalfi with its impressive 12th-century Capuchin monastery and wonderful 11th-century Cathedral.

Day 7 - Rome

The Eternal City of Rome resembles an open-air museum and has an abundance of remarkable historic wonders. Join a panoramic tour of Rome and visit many of the historic sites including white marble Victor Emmanuel II Monument, the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and St. Peter's Basilica. Alternatively, explore Rome at your own pace on a hop-on hop-off bus which operates throughout the day on continuous loop around Rome's must-see sights.

Day 8 - Florence - Pisa

Arrive in Livorno, the gateway to the incredible cities of Florence and Pisa. Explore the fascinating city of Florence and visit the world-renowned museums which house art from famed artists including Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Dante and Machiavelli. Join an excursion to Pisa and tour the city's outstanding Campo dei Miracoli with famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Day 9 - Ajaccio (Corsica)

Surrounded by majestic mountains, Ajaccio is Corsica's largest town and has a fascinating Napoleonic legacy due to being the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Marvel at the fine collection of Renaissance painting in the Musee French and visit Napoleon's birthplace which is now a museum. Alternatively, enjoy a Corsica wine tasting and learn about the characteristics of locally grown wines or enjoy a guided walking tour of Ajaccio's many highlights.

Day 10 - Marseille (France)

Marseille is the cosmopolitan capital of Southern Europe and features a charming Old Quarter, the Romanesque-Byzantine Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica and a lively city atmosphere with sidewalk cafes and bars. Perhaps head to the medieval town of Aix-en-Provence and enjoy a cheese and wine tasting along with a guided walking tour. Or perhaps join a walking tour to discover the classic village of St.-Remy-de-Provence which was the magical setting for some of Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting.

Day 11 - Monte Carlo (Monaco) - UK

Disembark Seven Seas Voyager in the glamorous Monte Carlo. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
