The Croatian city of Dubrovnik is known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic' and the Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while the tranquil island of Korcula offers olive groves, vineyards and quaint villages. An overnight stop in the enchanting city of Venice is a fitting finale to this superb cruise.

Vistas of the Mediterranean Itinerary

Day 1 - UK - Athens (Greece)

Fly from the UK to Athens and embark your ship, Seven Seas Voyager.

Day 2 - Mykonos

Steeped in Greek mythology, Mykonos was named after Apollo's grandson, Mykons. It was also the location of the battle between Zeus and Gigantes. Today, it is one of Greece's most loved destinations with its stunning scenery and lively nightlife. Enjoy a half day at Elia Beach, a walking tour of Mykonos Town, or head to the sacred island of Delos, the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis.

Day 3 - Santorini

Santorini is arguably the most photographed Greek island with its classic whitewashed houses and stunning white sandy beaches. Explore the pretty village of Oia at the northern end of Santorini which offers magnificent views of the caldera and the rest of the islands, or head to the crater of a still-active volcano followed by a winery visit. There is also a tour which takes in the windmill ruins that have become an icon of Santorini.

Day 4 - Gythion

Once the seaport of Sparta, Gythion today welcomes visitors with a stunning coastline and white sandy beaches. Near the entrance of the city is the incredible theatre which still houses the ruins of the Temple of Athena and the Gates of Castorides. Enjoy an authentic taste of Greece by visiting a museum dedicated to the olive, head to Liotrivi mansion, the country estate of the Ritsos family, or explore the underground chambers of the Diros Caves.

Day 5 - Corfu

Homer wrote about the island of Corfu in his famous Odyssey. Explore the island by 4x4, enjoy a visit to the Ambelonas wine estate, or perhaps head to picturesque Paleokastritsa.

Day 6 - Bari (Italy)

The Italian city of Bari has always been an important port city. The Basilica of Saint Nicholas holds the remains of its namesake beneath the altar. Enjoy a visit to magical Castel del Monte which has been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and head to the Castellana Caves before spending free time in the seaside village of Polignano a Mare. Alternatively, tour hillside Ostuni followed by a wine tasting at a fortified farmhouse known as Masseria Brancati.

Day 7 - Kotor (Montenegro)

The coastal town of Kotor is situated in a secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. The old port is surrounded by an impressive city wall built by the House of Nemanjicc and a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a drive through the mountains into Montenegro's stunning countryside, join a tuk-tuk ride around a scenic peninsula which juts into the Bay of Kotor, or take a stroll along the atmospheric streets of Budva's medieval Old Town.

Day 8 - Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Dubrovnik is known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic' and the Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a train ride between several of the most prestigious wineries in the Konavle Valley with a tasting at each one, or visit the seaside resort town of Cavtat which was once the Ancient Roman City of Epidaurus. Alternative, there is a cable car ride for panoramic views or a bicycle adventure in the Konavle Valley.

Day 9 - Korcula

Korcula is renowned for its olive groves, vineyards and quaint villages. It is the birthplace of Marco Polo and the town centre offers views of the ocean. Board a boat and cruise along the eastern tip of Korcula Island, visit the village of Lumbarda for a wine tasting and traditional Dalmatian meal, or join the island tour which takes in several towns and villages.

Day 10 - Venice (Italy)

Venice is known as the 'City of Canals' and was built on an archipelago of more than 100 islands. Listen to Baroque music in a 16th-century concert hall, cruise the Grand Canal and visit the Guggenheim Museum, or explore Venice by gondola. Alternatively, head to the La Fenice Opera House.

Day 11 - Venice - UK

Disembark Seven Seas Voyager in Venice and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
