Monaco To Malta Itinerary

Day 1 - Monte Carlo (Monaco)

Fly from the UK and embark your ship in Monte Carlo.

Day 2 - Marseille (France)

Marseille once inspired Cezanne's paintings and is home to a picturesque Old Quarter and Romanesque-Byzantine Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica. Head to Aix-en-Provence for a wine and cheese tasting, explore the old quarter known as Le Panier and enjoy a game of boule de petanque with the locals, or visit the bustling Noailles Market.

Day 3 - Barcelona (Spain)

The capital of Catalonia is a banquet for the senses, with its beguiling mix of ancient and modern architecture, tempting cafés and sun-drenched Mediterranean beaches. A stroll along La Rambla and through waterfront Barceloneta, as well as a tour of Gaudí's majestic Sagrada Família and his other unique creations, are part of a visit to Spain's second-largest city. Why not join the wine excursion to Jean Leon for a winery tour and tasting, or visit a chocolate factory then learn how cava is produced.

Day 4 - Cruising the Mediterranean Sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 5 - Valletta (Malta)

Malta's UNESCO-listed capital is home to the impressive 19th-century Mosta Dome which can be seen from anywhere on the island. Explore Malta's ancient capital, Mdina and watch artisans at work in a handicrafts village, take a ferry across to the scenic island of Gozo with its UNESCO-listed Ggantija Temples, or enjoy a wine tasting at one of Malta's renowned wineries.

Day 6 - Messina (Sicily)

Home to the Museo Regionale of Messina, known for featuring two of Caravaggio's paintings, the city is also famous for having been the capital of the ancient kingdom of Sicily. Enjoy a drive through Sicily's breathtaking landscapes to the edge of Mount Etna, enjoy a wine tasting at Tenuta San Michele at the base of Mount Etna, or discover enchanting Taormina and its astonishing Greco-Roman amphitheatre which is still in use today.

Day 7 - Positano - Amalfi (Italy)

White Moorish-style houses cling to steep slopes around a beautiful bay in sophisticated Positano on the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy a drive along this spectacular coastline, uncover the secrets of Villa Rufolo with its medieval buildings and pretty gardens, or perhaps discover the Emerald Grotto with its luminescent waters.

Day 8 - Civitavecchia - UK

Disembark ship in Civitavecchia and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
