La Dolce Vita Itinerary

Day 1 - Naples, Italy

Embark Variety Voyager for embarkation at 14:00. After the safety drill, savour a welcome cocktail and dinner, meeting fellow passengers. Overnight in Naples promises an enchanting start to your cruise adventure.

Day 2 - Capri Island

Set against the stunning Tyrrhenian Sea, our morning journey takes us to Capri, renowned as the jewel of the Bay of Naples. Enjoy optional half-day excursions and a Cocktail Demonstration before sailing to Lipari in the late afternoon. Overnight at sea.

Day 3 - Lipari, Aeolian Islands

After breakfast, our ship anchors at Lipari, the largest gem in the Aeolian Islands. Explore with an optional half-day tour to Quattrocchi for stunning views, Quattropani’s charming church, and a visit to a historic Spanish-built castle. Enjoy leisure time before dinner onboard, sailing towards Taormina overnight.

Day 4 - Taormina, Sicily

Arrive in Taormina in the morning and explore its historic alleyways on an optional tour. Visit Palazzo Corvaja and the renowned Greek amphitheater for its exceptional acoustics. Enjoy leisurely strolls along Corso Umberto before a Wine Tasting Experience in the evening.

Day 5 - Catania

Departing Taormina early, we sail to Catania. After breakfast, consider our optional full-day Mount Etna excursion. Explore diverse landscapes shaped by nature's forces, delve into volcanic history, and enjoy local delicacies and wines at a renowned winery on Etna's slopes.

Day 6 - Syracuse

Arriving in Syracuse early morning,  and join our guided tour for insights into Syracuse's history. Enjoy lunch at your leisure. Spend the afternoon exploring charming streets or relaxing seaside. Learn our chef's Pesto a la Trapanese recipe before our Captain’s Italian Night Dinner. Sail for Gozo Island at midnight.

Day 7 - Gozo Island, Malta

Morning brings us to Malta's enchanting Gozo Island, home to the awe-inspiring Ggantija temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back 5500 years. Enjoy a revitalizing swim in azure waters before exploring Gozo's treasures and dining aboard as we sail towards Valletta in the tranquil afternoon.

Day 8 - Valletta

Price Includes

  • 7-night cruise on board Variety Voyager in your chosen grade of cabin with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, mini fridge and flat screen TV with complimentary movies.
  • Half-board: Buffet breakfast and one main meal daily, including a Welcome Cocktail, a local themed party evening, fun BBQ on the beach or on deck (weather permitting) and Captain’s Dinner.
  • Regular (filter) coffee, tea and drinking water free all day, plus abundant fresh fruit.
  • Use of fishing and snorkelling equipment, sea kayak and stand up paddle boards (subject to availability).
