Day 1 - Nice (France)
Embark ship in Nice.
Day 2 - Santa Margherita (Italy)
Admire the awe-inspiring scenery as you stroll through Santa Margherita, with its 16th-century castle and main city square lined with colourful palaces. Perhaps visit a waterfront cafe and watch fisherman unload their catch.
Days 3-4 - Livorno
The port city of Livorno has many charms of its own: the canals of La Venezia Nuova (New Venice), which date back to the Medici era, the Mercato Centrale, and the chessboard-style Terrazza Mascagni promenade, to name a few. From Livorno perhaps take the opportunity to visit Florence, renowned for its Renaissance architecture. See Michelangelo's magnificent David, and the Uffizi Gallery. Alternatively, head to Pisa, home to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Day 7 - Sorrento
Looking out from Sorrento is the isle of Capri. The island is divided into two main parts, Capri and Anacapri. Capri is full of Italian luxury, with designer stores and five-star hotels lining the streets, while Anacapri is slightly more down-to-earth. Perhaps take a relaxing chair lift ride to the very top of the island or head to Pompeii.
Day 8 - Civitavecchia (Italy)
