Europa 2 from Hapag Lloyd, launched in 2013, sets a new standard for luxury ships. It has a relaxed luxury style with a smart-casual dress code - no formal nights, no Captain's Dinner and no fixed dining.

The ship's contemporary style reflects space, style and service with marble and stainless steel finishes. Europa 2 is an all suite/all balcony ship with a minimum 28 sq.m accommodation plus balcony of 7 sq.m. All suites have premium quality fittings and bathrooms with a separate shower and bath. Some suites have a bathroom with a whirlpool bath and window overlooking the bed area to the balcony and the passing scenery.

Europa 2 has gourmet cuisine with 8 themed restaurants focusing on international cuisine including Asian, Indian, French and Sushi. There is also a cookery school for guests to enhance their skills.

There are 6 bars to relax in with different themes and there are exclusive shows designed to be suitable for all nationalities.

All the crew onboard Europa 2 are German, but speak impeccable English and with 1.4 crew per passenger the service is superb. Europa 2 cruises are designed for the international market and entertainment is suitable for all languages.

Europa 2 caters for families - children under 11 travel free if sharing a cabin with parents and there is a fantastic kids club for them. Adjoining suites can also be booked for family use.
