The Golden Circle is a popular route in South Iceland and takes in the dramatic landscapes of Thingvellir National Park, the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall and the Strokkur geyser which erupts dramatically every few minutes.

Wildlife in Iceland is rich with birdlife making it popular with ornithologists who visit to see dozens of thrilling species of bird during the summer nesting season, including puffins, skuas and kittiwakes.
