Ionian Odyssey Itinerary

Day 1 - UK - Athens (Greece)

Travel to Athens, where you'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to the Royal Olympic hotel for a luxurious 2-night stay. Recently renovated 5-star 'Art Hotel,' it offers an extravagant experience with sumptuous public areas and elegant rooms—ideal for those seeking a lavish stay in Athens.

Day 2 - Athens

Discover Athens at your own pace or opt for a guided tour. Within a stroll, explore iconic sites like the Roman Agora, Syntagma, Hadrian’s Arch, and the Acropolis. Ideal for early exploration, access hidden gems, shops, and local eateries, ensuring a fulfilling day with a short walk back to comfort.

Day 3 - Athens - Corinth Canal

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel, followed by a morning of exploration. In the afternoon, transfer to the M/Y Harmony G for embarkation, where you'll meet fellow passengers and cruise through the Corinth Canal toward Kefalonia.

Day 4 - Sami - Kefalonia

Awaken in the serene Antisamos, a secluded bay near Sami. Delight in a morning swim and onboard lunch. Explore Sami, famed for "Captain Corelli’s Mandolin," or venture to Melissani Cave, Karavomilos Lake, or Drogarati cave. Tailor your dinner experience. Early next morning, set sail for Antipaxos.

Day 5 - Antipaxos - Paxos

Explore Paxos' natural allure. Enjoy a swim at Antipaxos' gorgeous beach and savor an onboard BBQ. Cruise to Gaios, the main town of Paxos, for an enchanting evening experiencing local cuisine and nightlife. Post-midnight, embark on a sail to Corfu.

Day 6 - Corfu

Discover Corfu's Old Town, woven with narrow streets echoing its rich history. Spend a leisurely day or opt for an optional excursion. Experience a Greek Night celebration onboard. Post-midnight, set sail for Meganisi and Ithaca

Day 7 - Meganisi - Ithaca - Vathi

Start your day in the peaceful ambiance of Meganisi for a refreshing swim or a leisurely breakfast. Enjoy a Greek BBQ lunch before sailing to Vathi, the capital of Ithaca. Take a waterfront stroll and select a taverna for dinner. Overnight in Vathi.

Day 8 - Messolonghi

Embark on an early journey to Messolonghi, with a swim stop en route. After lunch, discover Messolonghi's lagoon and enchanting old town. Delight in dinner at a local taverna. In the late evening, set sail for the Corinth Canal.

Day 9 - Corinth Canal - Agistri - Aegina

Morning passage through the Corinth Canal. Arrive at Agistri for a final swim. Enjoy lunch onboard and explore Aegina or opt for an optional excursion. Conclude the journey with the Captain's Farewell Dinner before returning to Marina Zea.

Day 10 - Athens

Begin the day with an early onboard breakfast at 8:30. After disembarkation, bid farewell to new friends and transfer to Athens airport for your return flight to the UK.

The Captain reserves the right to modify the cruise itinerary.

Price Includes

  • Flights from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Luton, London Stansted, Manchester or Bristol.
  • All local transfers.
  • 2 nights at Royal Olympic hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
  • Accommodation on board M/Y Harmony G for 7 nights in your chosen grade of cabin with private SH/WC & air conditioning, mini fridge and flat screen TV with complimentary movies.
  • Half-board: Buffet breakfast and one main meal daily, including a Welcome Cocktail, a local themed party evening , fun BBQ on the beach or on deck (weather permitting) and Captain’s Dinner.
  • Regular (filter) coffee, tea and drinking water free all day, plus abundant fresh fruit.
  • Use of fishing and snorkelling equipment, sea kayak and stand up paddle boards (subject to availability).
  • Professional English speaking Cruise Director.
