Day 1 - Tokyo (Japan)
Embark your ship in the exciting metropolis of Tokyo.
Day 2 - At Sea
Enjoy the ship's facilities during a relaxing day at sea.
Day 3 - Hakodate
Enjoy the natural beauty of this sophisticated city which has something for everyone, from hot springs to the historic giant star-shaped Goryokaku fort.
Day 4 - Aomori
The lovely city of Aomori is sunny and refreshingly cool in the summer. Perhaps explore the Shirakami-Sanchi nature reserve, visit Hirosaki Castle and the beautiful floats of Nebuta Village or discover Mt Hakkoda.
Day 5 - Akita
Akita is a paradise for seafood lovers due to its prime location adjacent to the Sea of Japan. Perhaps visit the Shirakami -Sanchi Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site or relax at the Nyuto Hot Springs.
Day 6 - Kanazawa
In Kanazawa, perhaps explore the 70 temples of Tera-machi, visit the D.T. Suzuki Museum, a peaceful homage to Zen Buddhism, or wander along the the small bustling alleys of the colourful Omichi Market. Be sure to sample the region’s sake, known for its superior quality.
Day 7 - Sakaiminato
Take a walk down Shigeru Mizuki Road, a street lined with more than 150 statues of characters from the manga stories; Japan's favourite comic characters. If you're a Manga fan, be sure to also visit the Shigeru Mizuki Memorial Museum to learn more about Mizuki and his creative characters.
Day 8 - Busan (South Korea)
Busan is a city bursting with ancient culture and modern life. For a true taste of Busan, head to the bustling Gujke Market.
Day 9 - Kitakyushu (Japan)
Admire the view of Kitakyushu from the seaside port of Moji. Perhaps visit the Moji Customs Building and tour the art gallery inside, or head to the top of the Mojiko Retro Observation Room for great views of the city. For something a little more unusual, explore the Toto Toilet Museum.
Day 10 - Hiroshima
Hiroshima is the largest city on Honshu Island in Japan and is known as the City of Peace as it was the site of the first WWII atomic blast on August 6, 1945. See the sights of Hiroshima including the Peace Memorial Park, Atomic Bomb Dome and Shukkeien Garden.
Day 11 - Takamatsu
In the dynamic city of Takamatsu, visit the Tamamo-koen Park to discover its ruins and explore Japanese-style turrets. Or perhaps choose from one of the two optional tours. For example, stroll among the flowers and trees during a visit to Ritsurin Garden; a botanical paradise dating back to the 1600s and discover the history of the Yashimaji Temple. Alternatively, take the opportunity to visit Nakano Udon School and take a noodle-making workshop.
Day 12-13 - Kobe
Kobe is headquarters for many Japanese and international firms as well as an important seaport. Explore spectacular palaces and castles of shoguns and emperors and wander down narrow lanes paved in stone and lined with wooden buildings.
Day 14 - Shimizu
The charming port town of Shimizu is overlooked by the dramatic Mount Fuji. Spend time at leisure exploring the bustling port and perhaps stroll through Miho-no-Matsubara which is home to 30,000 pine trees lining the seashore.
Day 15 - Tokyo
Tokyo combines the vitality of a modern city with the stately elegance of the past with highlights including the beautiful Meiji Shrine, the revered Senso-ji temple and the picturesque gardens at Shinjuku Gyoen.
Day 16 - Tokyo
Disembark your ship in Tokyo.
