Days 1-2 - Hong Kong (China)

Embark Crystal Symphony in Hong Kong for an overnight stop in this exciting city. Colourful Hong Kong is a city of contrasts, with ultra-modern high-rise buildings standing side by side with street markets and ancient temples. Highlights of this legendary city include the floating village of Aberdeen, the busy Temple Street night market and Lantau Island with the Po Lin Monastery's giant Buddha statue.

Day 3 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 4 - Hualien (Taiwan)

Hualien is the gateway to Taroko National Park whose claim to fame is the sheer-walled Taroko Gorge and the picturesque Eternal Spring Shrine, and Yushan National Park which offers dramatic mountain landscapes.

Day 5 - Taipei/Keelung

From Keelung travel to Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. This modern metropolis has highlights including the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, the pagoda-like National Theatre and the famous Taipei 101 skyscraper.

Day 6 - Ishigaki (Japan)

Ishigaki is a tropical island with white sandy beaches, clear blue waters and colourful coral reefs. Idyllic Kabira Bay is located on the northwest coast and is a popular spot for diving and snorkelling. Inland, the landscape comprises palm forests, jungle-clad mountains and mangrove-lined rivers.

Day 7 - Okinawa/Naha

Okinawa is the southernmost of Japan's main islands and has its own, separate history dating back to the 15th-century Ryukyu Kingdom. Sacred temples and an imperial castle contrast with towering skyscrapers. Due to its tropical climate, sugar cane fields and white sandy beaches, Okinawa is sometimes known as Japan's Hawaii.

Days 9-10 - Shanghai

Enjoy an overnight stop in Shanghai, a contrasting city of dynamic modern skyscrapers and stately stone buildings. Highlights of the city include the magnificent Shanghai Museum, the graceful riverside Bund promenade and the vast People’s Square.

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 12 - Pusan (South Korea)

Pusan is Korea's second largest city and has much to offer, from inviting beaches to lively markets and trendy eateries.

Day 13 - Nagasaki (Japan)

The modern city of Nagaski is home to the Nagasaki Peace Park which is dedicated to world peace, the Roman Catholic Urakami Cathedral and the Atomic Bomb Museum, built on the spot where the bomb was detonated.

Day 14 - Kagoshima

Kagoshima is dominated by the Sakurajima volcano and is often compared to the Italian city of Naples. Wander through picturesque Japanese gardens, explore historical sites or shop for traditional pottery.

Days 15-16 - Osaka

Osaka offers a dazzling display of gleaming skyscrapers and towers as well as superb restaurants, impressive temples and steadfast castles. Osaka is the gateway to the majestic cities of sacred Kyoto and ancient Nara.

Days 17-18 - Tokyo

Tokyo is a vibrant metropolis that combines vitality of a modern city with the stately elegance of the past. From the timeless beauty of the Meiji Shrine to the impressive Tokyo Tower, this international city is a complex blend of East and West. The timeless Imperial Palace is set in a verdant parkland of isolation, a welcome escape from the busy city. Disembark Crystal Symphony the following day.
