Tropical Asia Itinerary

Days 1-2 - UK - Hong Kong (China)

Fly from the UK to Hong Kong and embark Seven Seas Explorer.

Day 3 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 4 - Hanoi (Vietnam)

Hanoi is gateway to Halong Bay and the Red River Delta. Perhaps cruise into the stunningly beautiful Halong Bay on a classic Chinese junk and practice meditation on deck or head to the Royal Park Resort for an exuberant performance of water puppetry. Alternatively, experience the scenic beauty of Halong Bay from a kayak or perhaps practice Tai Chi at a Buddhist monastery on Yen Tu Mountain.

Day 5 - Hue

The tranquil city of Hue is located on the atmospheric Perfume River, where modern skyscrapers stand side by side with ancient Citadel walls.

Days 6 - Nha Trang

Nha Trang is set in a stunning turquoise bay with one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Experience rural life in Vietnam on an excursion which visits a farmer's house, a local temple, a traditional coffee shop and a rice paper workshop. The scenic tour of Nha Trang highlights the ancient civilisations of Vietnam with a stop at Long Son Pagoda, the Po Nagar Cham Towers complex which was built between the 7th and 12th centuries, and the beautiful XQ embroidery workshop. For a different way to view the city's highlights why not take the guided pedicab tour through the popular downtown streets to the Dam market.

Day 7-8 - Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy an overnight stop in Ho Chi Minh City where a guided tour highlights the city's main attractions including the former Presidential Palace, History Museum and lively China Town, with a brief performance of traditional water puppetry. The famous Cu Chi Tunnels can be explored on an excursion which features the huge tropical orchard region and the vast network of underground tunnels where thousands of Vietnamese fought during the Vietnam War. Explore the Mekong River Delta with a visit to the unique Vinh Trang Pagoda followed by a boat trip down the Mekong River past traditional stilt houses.

Day 8 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Days 9 - Muara (Brunei)

Brunei's charming capital Muara is home to beautiful markets, incredible museums and unspoiled nature as well as an array of landmarks including Sultan's lavish residence. Excursions include a relaxed panoramic city tour, a heritage and local lifestyle tour or a visit to a local water village.

Day 10 - Kota Kinabalu (Borneo)

The diverse city of Kota Kinabalu is known for its bustling markets and unique high-rise architecture. Perhaps experience authentic tribal life in a jungle village and discover the city's highlights or explore the majestic Kinabalu Park, Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 11-12 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 13 - Hong Kong (China) - UK

Disembark Seven Seas Explorer in Hong Kong and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
