Day 1 - London (UK) - Paris (France)
Board the Belmond British Pullman train at London Victoria station. Sit back and enjoy brunch served with a Bellini whilst travelling through the Kentish countryside. After crossing the Channel board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train. Enjoy a delicious four-course dinner, prepared by skilled French chefs. After dinner retire to your cabin, which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.
Day 2 - Paris – Venice (Italy)
Awake to the magnificent mountain and countryside scenery as breakfast is served in your cabin at a time to suit you. Spend the morning relaxing in your cabin or in the Bar Car chatting to fellow guests. Enjoy a leisurely three-course lunch which is served in another one of the beautiful restaurant cars then while away the afternoon admiring the passing scenery. Later, afternoon tea is served in your cabin before the train crosses the Venetian Lagoon. Disembark in Venice and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3 - Venice
Rising from the waters of the Laguna Veneta, Venice is considered one of the world's most enchanting cities and is legendary for its labyrinthine network of canals. Explore the city of Venice at leisure.
Day 4 - Venice
Transfer from the hotel and embark Crystal Esprit in Venice. (B,D)
Day 5 - Rovinj (Croatia)
Rovinj is a pretty and interesting old town with small squares bordered by Gothic and Venetian palaces.
Day 6 - Sibenik
Rising up in layers from the harbor, Sibenik was founded by Croats – not the Romans – giving the city an interesting regional story and a collection of remarkable architecture, including the Cathedral of St. James, built completely in stone between 1431 and 1536 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. The city’s Mediterranean climate and volleyed possession among Venice, Byzantium, Hungary and Bosnia give it a sun-glow warmth and distinct heritage.
Day 7 - Trogir
Located on a small island, the city of Trogir has a history that reaches back to the 3rd century BC, when it was founded by the Greeks. Later influenced by the Romans and Venetians, Trogir is like an open-air museum, scattered with churches, palaces, towers and fortifications, and its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 8 - Vis
The tiny isle of Vis has mostly escaped modern development, making it an appealing place to find a bit of Mediterranean authenticity - for Hollywood movies, too. Fishing and wine are longstanding traditions, and a rich history can be seen in the island’s architecture, humble with a Venetian flair. For nature lovers, there are pretty beaches and blue Adriatic.
Day 9 - Hvar
This small island located in the centre of the Mediterranean is a nature-lover’s delight. The arrival of Croatians to Hvar in the Middle Ages turned this temperate island into the centre of Croatian arts and literature. Today, Hvar offers stretches of beaches that melt into the azure waters of the Mediterranean, its limestone towns sparkling amid the fertile green hills, rocky terrain, and the surrounding sea of clear cobalt blue. The island’s climate is unmatched, and beauty, unforgettable
Day 10 - Korčula
Long stretches of beaches, rocky mountains within reach of the sea, untouched nature and unique city monuments make up beautiful Croatia, and the town of Korčula is the historical, cultural and political center of the island. Considered the birthplace of Marco Polo, Korčula's history and tradition are apparent when you walk along the paved streets and squares of this lovely town. Visit cultural and historical monuments such as the Treasury of the Abbey, the City Museum and the Museum of Icons.
Day 11 - Dubrovnik - UK
Disembark Crystal Esprit in Dubrovnik and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
