Enjoy a guided tour of Zadar, the ancient capital of Dalmatia, and perhaps end the day with a glass of the maraschino liqueur which has been produced here for 500 years.
Call at the quaint harbour of Zlarin or Rogoznica, surrounded by forests and vineyards, and explore the picturesque waterfront and winding back streets. Trogir is the next port of call with its imposing city walls, classic waterfront, majestic cathedral and wealth of ancient sites. Enjoy a final evening in historic Split before disembarking the following morning.

Dramatic Dalmatia Itinerary
Day 1 - UK - Split (Croatia)
Fly from the UK and embark Riva in Split. After dinner on board, perhaps stroll around this ancient city or visit one of the local bars.
Day 2 - Sibenik
Sail through the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic, past unspoilt islands, secluded bays and dramatic landscapes. This morning enjoy a swim stop before cruising to Sibenik, one of Croatia's oldest cities. Stroll through the medieval streets on a guided walking tour and explore the lovely City Square, magnificent St James' Cathedral, Dukes and Bishops Palaces and Venetian Loggia. Remain in Sibenik overnight so take dinner at leisure.
Day 3 - Krka National Park - Vodice
Drive to the exquisite Krka Valley where the River Krka flows through a series of stunning lakes, gorges and rapids before heading out to sea. A morning tour takes in part of this awe-inspiring area. Due to minerals in the water, the colours change from turquoise to azure-blue and vivid green to steel greys. See one of the most dramatic stretches of the river where several tiers of waterfall cascade into a shallow pool where you can swim should you wish. After lunch, continue cruising and moor in Vodice. Enjoy time at leisure to explore this pretty coastal town and take dinner at leisure.
Day 4 - Kornati National Park - Zadar
Stop for a swim in one of the lovely bays that line this coastline before sailing through the beautiful Kornati archipelago. Enjoy a guided tour of Zadar, the ancient capital of Dalmatia, before taking time to explore this lively coastal town at your leisure. Why not try one of the cosy restaurants for dinner?
Day 5 - Vrgada - Zlarin or Rogoznica
Sail past glorious coastal scenery and enjoy a refreshing swim off the island of Vrgada. Discover the picturesque island of Zlarin or picturesque Rogoznica, with their quaint harbours, winding back streets and scenic landscapes. Dine ashore this evening.
Day 6 - Fumija - Trogir
This morning there is another swim stop on the island of Fumija, where the remains of an early medieval church and crumbling farm buildings of the Benedictine monks of Trogir can be seen. Back on board for lunch whilst cruising to Trogir. Take a guided walking tour of Trogir's ancient sights, imposing city walls, secret courtyards and majestic cathedral. Captain's Dinner this evening with regional specialities.
Day 7 - Split
Split's charming old town contains the majestic Diocletian's Palace, a World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive Roman ruins in existence. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the incredible Diocletian's palace, one of the greatest structures of the Roman empire. Dinner at leisure this evening.
Day 8 - Split - UK
Disembark Riva in Split and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
