Croatia and Montenegro Cruise Special Offer

Relax and enjoy this superb cruise discovering the jewels of the Adriatic; the beautiful islands of Mljet, Vis, Hvar and Korcula, the tranquil bay of the Kotor estuary, historic towns of Trogir and Sibenek, and the unique city of Dubrovnik.

Spend your first day enjoying the ancient walled town of Dubrovnik, perhaps taking the breathtaking walk around the walls overlooking the sea and town. From Dubrovnik sail on for a visit to the beautiful islands of Mljet and Korcula before continuing to Sibenik, one of the oldest towns in the Adriatic.

Next, visit the World Heritage site of Trogir with its narrow alleyways, and then on to fascinating Split with its houses and shops built into the ancient Roman palace.

Visits to the beautiful Croatian islands of Vis and Hvar are followed by a cruise into the bay of Kotor in Montenegro. This long fjord surrounded by hills leads to the ancient town of Kotor and its well-preserved medieval buildings.

DHDPP: Croatia and Montenegro Itinerary

Day 1 - Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Welcome on board. Settle into your cabin before the presentation of the crew, followed by a welcome cocktail served in the lounge and dinner on board.

Day 2 - Dubrovnik

Breakfast on board. In the morning, optional guided tour of the city of Dubrovnik. Nicknamed 'the pearl of the Adriatic', the city is spread out before the sea at the foot of a range of rugged limestone mountains. The ancient city is famous for its ramparts, which date from medieval times, and its numerous pre-Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings. Free afternoon to enjoy Dubrovnik. The fortified walls which completely encircle the old town are 2 km long and up to 25m in height. From the ramparts there is a beautiful view over the old town. Back on board for dinner and the ship departs in the evening.

Day 3 - Mljet - Korcula

Breakfast during the cruise before arrival in Mljet. Optional guided tour. Situated between the island of Korcula and Dubrovnik, Mljet is one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic. During lunch, we cruise to Korcula and arriving after lunch. Optional guided tour of the town or optional buggy safari. Back on board for the evening. Dinner on board, followed by a traditional "sabre dancing" evening.

Day 4 - Korcula - Sibenik

Depart early in the morning. We breakfast during the cruise and enjoy a morning sailing through an exceptional landscape. Lunch on board. We will reach Sibenik where there are a choice of optional tours - a guided tour of the town and the Krka falls or a hike through the Krka National Park. Back on board for dinner and an evening show by the crew.

Day 5 - Sibenik - Trogir - Split

Depart early in the morning, after breakfast on board. Arrival in Trogir. Optional tour of the town. Built on an island, Trogir is a little jewel with narrow labyrinthine street scattered with stairways and vaulted passageways. The town has been classed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Back on board at the end of the morning and sail along the Dalmatian coast, arriving in Split. The second largest city in Croatia, it is the heart of central Dalmatia. Optional tour of the city. Back on board at the end of the day. Dinner on board. Free evening.

Day 6 - Split - Hvar - Vis

Depart early in the morning to Hvar. Optional guided tour of the town or take an urban hike. Back on board for lunch. Depart for Vis, the most westerly of the Dalmatian islands and the least known, as it was closed to tourists for a long time, a pearl which really has to be seen: unspoilt landscapes, a rugged coastline sheltering numerous creeks and coves - the most authentic island in the entire Adriatic. Here there is an optional bike tour. Back on board for the gala dinner, followed by an evening of dancing. The boat departs during the night for Kotor.

Day 7 - Kotor (Montenegro) - Dubrovnik

Arrive in Kotor during the morning. The Kotor estuary is quite unique: the sea sweeps in for several kilometres, forming a number of calm bays. The abundant rainfall and the temperate climate in this fjord-like bay explain the luxuriance of the vegetation. Optional guided tour of Kotor. Departure of the cruise for Dubrovnik and the evening is free to do as you please.

Day 8 - Dubrovnik

Breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9am.
