Day 1 - UK - San Diego (USA)
Fly from the UK to San Diego for an overnight stay in a luxurious hotel.
Day 2 - San Diego
Board Scenic Eclipse in the early afternoon, your home away from home and platform to explore the beautiful Mexican Riviera and Costa Rica.
Day 3-4 - At Sea
Relaxation beckons with so many choices on board you will wonder how time passes so quickly. Choose one of the daily activities including a class in Scenic Epicure, join an entertaining discussion in the Theatre, or make time for your own fitness regime. Try a game of bridge or canasta in the Observatory or tempt your palate with a wine tasting with the Sommelier in Scenic Epicure.
Day 5 - La Paz (Mexico)
La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, is known for its seafront Malecon promenade with beaches, parks and art by Mexican and international artists. In the city centre, perhaps visit the 19th-century Nuestra Senora de La Paz Cathedral or the Whale Museum which has displays on the area's gray whales.
Day 6 - Isla Cerralvo
Isla Cerralvo is currently known as Isla Jacques Cousteau because of a name change that took place during late 2009. It has been named after the renowned Jacques Cousteau, who was an oceanographer from France that ran a number of underwater expeditions around the island as well as other nearby surrounding areas.
Day 7 - Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta is a resort town on Mexico's Pacific coast, known for its beaches, water sports and where Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor descended on Banderas Bay to film John Huston's The Night of the Iguana. Its cobblestone centre is home to the ornate Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe church, boutique shops and a range of restaurants and bars for you to enjoy.
Day 8 - At Sea
Enjoy a relaxed day at sea on board Scenic Eclipse. There is ample time to rejuvenate. Choose a class in one of the fitness spaces or try one of the therapy lounges in the Spa Sanctuary.
Day 9 - Acapulco
Acapulco, a beach resort town on Mexico's Pacific coast, is set on a large bay backed by the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains. You may take the time to watch the professional divers that plunge 40m into a small ocean cove at the La Quebrada cliff each day and night or stroll the old colonial quarter of town.
Day 10 - At Sea
Relaxation and rediscovery are yours to enjoy. Take a cooking or tasting class in Scenic Epicure or a yoga or pilates class in the studio.
Day 11 - Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala)
Drive into the mountains to beautiful old Antigua, once the country's colonial capital, and discover its lovely bougainvillea-draped buildings and breath taking views of emerald volcanoes. Travel to the famed Lake Atitlan and step back in time as you encounter the indigenous people in all of their finery still living along the lakeshore.
Day 12 - Acajutla (El Salavador)
You are offered an authentic look at life along the Pacific coast of Central America when visiting Acajutla in El Salvador. Well known for its deep-sea fishing expeditions, active volcanoes, Mayan ruins and coffee plantations.
Day 13 - Corinto (Nicaragua)
Nicaragua's largest port, Corinto sits on an island connected to the mainland by bridges. Nicaragua is home to some of the world's most beautiful beaches, and the area offers long stretches of white sand and clear blue waters. The nearby city of Leon has a wonderful cathedral, monuments and colonial buildings as well as the ruins of Leon Viejo, one of the oldest Spanish settlements in the Americas.
Day 14 - Bahia Culebra - Marina Papagayo
One of Bahia Culebra's main features is the excellent quality of its waters that house a valuable natural ecosystem. Furthermore, it is a model for archaeologists, due to the pre-Columbian settlements which have been discovered. This natural area has turned into a biological model thanks to the preservation of its natural environment as well as the wide variety of species that inhabit this region.
Day 15 - Puerto Caldera (Costa Rica) - UK
Your cruise ends this morning in Puerto Caldera as you say farewell to your crew. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home.
Day 16 - UK
Welcome home.
