More choice as new ships launched on River Douro
This year, three new ships will be launched on Portugal’s River of Gold, giving customers more choice and increasing availability.
The AmaVida, jointly owned by AmaWaterways and APT, boasts spacious cabins, many of which have balconies and a swimming pool on the Sun Deck, while the Queen Isabel, operated by Uniworld, has a Serenity River Spa and fitness centre on board.
The Viking Douro, newly chartered by Viking River Cruises, boasts an observation lounge with panoramic windows, an onboard boutique and spacious cabins.
River Douro cruises explore the terraced vineyards, medieval cities and rural villages of Spain and Portugal, with hotel stays available in historic Lisbon.
