Skipton-based cruise specialist moves closer to the water!
Blue Water Holidays, the UK’s leading river, small ship and luxury cruise specialist, has moved to new, larger offices in Skipton. Selling cruises since 2002, Blue Water Holidays has been based at Brook Street for the last 6 years, but has now bought and renovated Bowers Wharf, next to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.
Barry Peters, Managing Director of Blue Water Holidays, said: “We were delighted when the opportunity arose to purchase this building in such a central location in the town. We have a frontage on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, which seems appropriate as we are specialists in cruises and all types of holidays afloat. The local ducks have already taken a fancy to our waterfront, and passing canal boaters can call in to book their next holiday!”
He added: “The timing is ideal as it is National Cruise Week from 21-29 September. Anyone interested in taking a cruising holiday is more than welcome to pop in and see us at anytime during the week.”
