Berlin to the Baltic Sea Special Offer

Sail from Berlin to the Baltic Sea, along the rivers of Germany and Poland to the famous islands of Usedom and Rugen and the cosmopolitan Danish city of Copenhagen.

The historic city of Berlin offers several renowned museums as well as iconic monuments such as the Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie. The Cistercian Chorin Abbey is one of the finest gothic buildings in Brandenburg and can be visited on an optional excursion. Szczecin was once a flourishing port and has a fascinating past dating back over 500 years. Usedom Island first came into fashion over 100 years ago and is still popular now due to its beautiful beaches and charming seaside resorts, whilst Rugen is the largest island in Germany and is famous for its steep chalky cliffs and historic beach resorts.

An optional tour of Greifswald uncovers the medieval architecture of this Hanseatic town. Stralsund was awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO due to its stunning German architecture. After disembarking ship in Stralsund travel to Copenhagen for an overnight hotel stay in this striking city, home to the famous Little Mermaid statue.

Berlin to Copenhagen - BSD

Day 1 - Berlin (Germany)

Embark your ship in Berlin at 6pm and enjoy a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2 - Berlin - Eberswalde

Today there is an optional guided tour of Berlin to see the famous historic monuments including the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag building and Checkpoint Charlie. Spend this afternoon cruising towards Eberswalde.

Day 3 - Eberswalde - Oderberg - Stolpe - Szczecin (Poland)

Perhaps join the optional excursion to the Cistercian Chorin Abbey for a guided tour of this 13th-century monastery which is one of the masterpieces of Brick Gothic style. Spend the afternoon cruising towards Szczecin.

Day 4 - Szczecin - Wolgast (Germany)

This morning there is an optional guided tour of the port town of Szczecin whose long and fascinating history can be seen in the 14th-century Ducal Castle, the medieval Cathedral and the Maritime Museum. Spend this afternoon cruising towards Wolgast.

Day 5 - Wolgast - Peenemunde - Usedom Island - Greifswald - Lauterbach

This morning, there is an optional excursion to the island of Usedom. In the afternoon, perhaps join an optional guided tour of Greifswald.

Day 6 - Lauterbach - Stralsund

This morning, there is an optional excursion to the island of Rügen, the biggest in Germany, famous for its historic beach resorts and its impressive steep chalky cliffs. In the afternoon, join an optional guided tour of Stralsund. This Hanseatic town has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2002 for its stunning architecture typical of northern Germany.

Day 7 - Stralsund - Sassnitz - Trelleborg - Copenhagen (Denmark)

Disembark ship this morning and transfer by coach to Sassnitz then board a ferry boat for the 4-hour crossing to Trelleborg. Enjoy lunch on your own today. Transfer by coach to the hotel in Copenhagen.

Day 8 - Copenhagen

Why not join the optional panoramic guided tour of Copenhagen today to see the city's most beautiful monuments including the iconic statue of the Little Mermaid on the seafront.

Copenhagen to Berlin - SBL

Day 1 - Copenhagen (Denmark)

Enjoy a guided tour of Copenhagen this afternoon to see the city's most beautiful monuments including the iconic statue of the Little Mermaid on the seafront then settle into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Copenhagen - Trelleborg (Germany) - Sassnitz - Stralsund

Transfer by coach to Trelleborg then board a ferry boat for the 4-hour crossing to Sassnitz. Enjoy lunch on your own today. Transfer by coach from Sassnitz to Stralsund and embark ship. Meet the crew at a welcome cocktail reception this evening.

Day 3 - Stralsund - Rugen Island - Greifswald

This morning there is an optional excursion to the island of Rügen. In the afternoon, set out for an optional guided tour of Stralsund. Return on board and start cruising towards Greifswald, reaching it in the evening.

Day 4 - Greifswald - Wolgast - Usedom Island

Join an optional guided tour of Greifswald. Afterwards, return on board and start cruising towards Wolgast, passing through Peenemünde. Reach Wolgast in the afternoon. You're welcome to take part in our excursion to the island of Usedom. We'll return on board for an evening of entertainment.

Day 5 - Wolgast - Szczacin (Poland)

Spend the morning cruising towards the port town of Szczecin, where an optional guided tour uncovers the town's long and fascinating history including the 14th-century Ducal Castle, the medieval Cathedral and the Maritime Museum.

Day 6 - Szczecin - Lunow - Lichterfelder

Sail towards Lunow where there is the chance to join the optional excursion to the Cistercian Chorin Abbey for a guided tour of this 13th-century monastery which is one of the masterpieces of Brick Gothic style. Rejoin the ship in Oderberg and cruise towards Lichterfelder. Gala dinner on board this evening.

Day 7 - Lichterfelder - Henningsdorf - Berlin

Today there is an optional guided tour of Berlin to see the famous historic monuments including the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag building and Checkpoint Charlie.

Day 8 - Berlin

Disembark ship in Berlin.
