Admire the spectacular Victorian buildings, built in the wake of the gold rush, during your time in the lively city of Melbourne, before heading to Kangaroo Island, the third largest off the coast of Australia. Around a third of the island is designated national park so it's no surprise that it is renowned for its natural beauty.

Other cruise highlights include Albany, Fremantle, renowned for its colonial architecture, and Bali, a land of beaches, volcanoes and forests.

Day 1 - Sydney (Australia)

Embark your ship in Sydney.

Days 2 - At sea

Enjoy the facilities on board during a day at sea.

Day 3 - Melbourne

Melbourne sits at the top of Port Philip Bay and has been rated one of the liveliest cities in the world. In the heart of the city are magnificent Victorian buildings, built in the wake of the gold rush, while in Southbank there is a mix of bars, restaurants and shops. Optional excursions include a guided walk taking in the city’s street art, a visit to the Healesville Sanctuary, and a guided electric bicycle tour.

Day 4 - At sea

Day 5 - Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island is the third largest island off the coast of Australia and renowned for its natural beauty. Around 30 percent of the island is designated National Park including Flinders Chase and Seal Bay Conservation Park. Today’s optional excursions include a half day tour with visits to a dairy farm, honey farm and Eucalyptus distillery. There is also a 4X4 Land Rover adventure, and sightseeing trip taking in Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park.

Days 6-7 - At sea

Relax and enjoy the facilities on board during two days at sea.

Day 8 - Albany

Albany is the oldest settlement in the state. A beautiful harbour on King George Sound led to the city becoming a thriving whaling port. The coastline is spectacular and at certain times of the year, whales can be seen off her coast. There is a choice of optional excursions, ranging from a tour of the Sandalwood Factory, to a walk along the Bibblumun Trail, and a cruise in the sheltered waters of Oyster Harbour and ancient Kalgan River.

Days 9-10 - Fremantle

Fremantle is renowned for its colonial architecture and hippy vibe. It is the gateway to Rottnest Island with its beautiful beaches and rocky coves. This modern city couldn’t be further from the barren land which greeted the first wave of English settlers back in 1829. Optional excursions include a tout taking in the cities of Fremantle and Perth, a Segway tour of Fremantle, and a visit to Fremantle Prison with its labyrinth of underground tunnels and passageways.

Days 11-13 - At sea

Relax on board during three days at sea.

Day 14 - Bali (Indonesia)

Bali is an island that has it all - beaches, volcanoes, forests, dive sites and rice fields. Learn about Balinese tradition and discover the revered temples and rituals which represent their ancient Hindu faith. Today’s optional excursions include an evening at the Royal Palace with dinner, an off-road quad adventure through bamboo forest and tropical plantations, and a visit to a Hindu temple for a Balinese blessing and purification.

Day 15 - At sea

Day 16 - Semarang

Semarang is one of Indonesia’s oldest cities and located on Java’s north coast. It is used as a gateway to the mountainous interior of Central Java and fabled Borobudur. There is a choice of tours today, which range from a visit to the Sambi Sari Temple and UNESCO-listed Prambanan Temple, to an excursion with a scenic train ride through the historical sections of Semarang, and a coach tour taking in the key sights.

Day 17 - At sea

Day 18 - Singapore

Singapore is a bustling metropolis with a modern Central Business District, overlooked by soaring skyscrapers and the famous 19th-century Raffles Hotel. Optional tours include a glimpse of Peranakan, a night time cruise along the Singapore river, and an excursion about feng shui, an ancient Chinese art of creating harmony and balance in life.

Day 19 - Singapore
