Set sail on this brand-new itinerary, offering you the unique opportunity to discover the north-east coast of Greenland, one of the most difficult regions to access in the Far North. In partnership with National Geographic Expeditions, a National Geographic Photographer and Expert on board will enhance this expedition cruise.

Cruise from Reykjavik to the region of Ittoqqortoormiit, home to a small community of Greenlanders where there will be the chance to find out about the life of the last hunters in the polar regions. Head for the Northeast Greenland National Park, the largest national park in the world and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve: here, there is no trace of human life, just majestic landscapes as far as the eye can see.

As summer begins, the ice floe breaks up, letting animals get closer to the coastlines: these are optimal conditions for observing the impressive Arctic wildlife including polar bears, narwhals, musk oxen, Arctic foxes and hares, walruses and orcas. There will be an attempt to reach the Ile de France, a particularly remote region protected by thick pack ice.
