Discover the highlights of the Falkland Islands and Antarctica, with opportunities to see penguins, seals and whales up close, hike on the ice and kayak among icebergs.

Enjoy an overnight hotel stay in the lively city of Buenos Aires then fly to Ushuaia to board the ship. Cross the famous Drake Passage en-route to Antarctica, the most remote place on Earth. Here, join the Expedition Team for visits ashore to see huge penguin colonies and perhaps discover the icy shores by kayak. See majestic glaciers and old whaling stations with possible landings including Half Moon Island and Cuverville Island, home to a large colony of gentoo penguins, and Paradise Harbour.

The remote Falkland Islands have a unique culture. The capital, Stanley, is very British with its red phone boxes and English pubs. Explore at leisure or perhaps join an excursion to discover the vast wilderness and wildlife of the surrounding areas. Rejoin the ship and relax during a three-day ocean crossing to Montevideo.

Adventure to Antarctica Northbound Itinerary

Day 1 - Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Enjoy an overnight hotel stay in Buenos Aires.

Day 2 - Buenos Aires - Ushuaia

Fly from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia. Transfer to your ship and enjoy a Welcome Dinner.

Days 3-4 - Drake Passage

Named after Sir Francis Drake, this stretch of water betweeen South America and the Antarctic Peninsula has numerous myths and legends connected to it. Relax on board and perhaps watch a film about Antarctica or attend educational lectures.

Days 5-9 - Antarctica

There are no permanent human inhabitants in Antarctica but it is home to millions of penguins and the feeding area for thousands of whales. Words simply cannot describe the feeling of being on the Great White Continent. The ice, wind and weather dictate life in Antarctica as well as our route. Every voyage is unique and our experienced crew will make all voyages an experience of a lifetime. Locations that may be visited include Cuverville Island, home to a large colony of Gentoo penguins, beautiful Neko Harbour and stunning Half Moon Island.

Day 10 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Days 11-13 - Falkland Islands

The Falkland Islands are said to look like a miniature England, with red phone boxes and red buses. Explore Stanley, capital of the Falklands, or join the expedition team in the wild surroundings with options for joining bird watching tours, nature walks or a plane ride over the islands.

Days 14-16 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on relaxing days at sea.

Day 17 - Montevideo (Uruguay)

Disembark ship in Montevideo.
