Embark Marco Polo in London Tilbury.

Day 2 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 3 - Leith (Scotland)

The port of Leith is the gateway to Scotland's grand capital of Edinburgh. The port itself has been active for over 1,000 years and although once separated from the capital by a couple of miles, the two are now seamlessly blended together. Perhaps explore the rich history of this important port or venture into the city where the magnificent Edinburgh Castle awaits.

Day 4 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 5 - Klaksvík (Faroe Islands)

Colourful fishing boats dot the busy harbour of Klaksvik which is set in beautiful surroundings. Perhaps explore the town's cultural heritage at the Christian's church, where a traditional Faroese boat hangs, or visit the small museum of the northern islands which gives an insight into the daily life of times gone by.

Day 6 - Torshavn

Torshavn is one of the smallest capital cities in the world and was once the site of an annual Viking gathering. Perhaps explore the old part of the town which boasts characteristic red buildings with turf-covered roofs clustered on a narrow peninsula. The wild and dramatic landscape of the Faroe Islands is a magnificent backdrop to optional excursions showing how islanders live on these remote and unspoilt islands.

Day 7 - Lerwick (Shetland Islands)

Lerwick was founded as an unofficial marketplace to service 17th century Dutch herring fleets. Hay's Dock is home to the Shetland Museum and Archives. On the southern tip of Mainland is the impressive archaeological site of Jarlshof.

Day 8 - Kirkwall (Orkney Islands)

Kirkwall is the capital of the Orkney archipelago. The spectacular St Magnus Cathedral dominates the town's skyline. Take one of the optional excursions during your time here.

Day 9 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.
