Reaching Iceland, visit Seydisfjordur with its multicoloured wooden houses surrounded by snow-capped mountains and cascading waterfalls.

Visit the beautiful town of Husavik, whale-watching capital of Iceland, before cruising to Isafjordur. Situated just below the Arctic Circle, Isafjordur is the largest town in the Westfjords region of Iceland and surrounded by towering mountains. Spend a full day in Iceland's capital, Reykjavik, a modern city with quirky character.

Day 1 - Cardiff

Embark Marco Polo in Cardiff.

Day 2 - 3 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 4 - Kollafjordur (Faroe Islands)

Kollafjordur is a small fishing port on the northern shore of the Kollafjørdur Fjord. Optional excursions visit the island communities on this isolated archipelago with its wild and dramatic landscape.

Day 5 - Seydisfjordur (Iceland)

With its multicoloured wooden houses surrounded by snow-capped mountains and cascading waterfalls, beautiful Seydisfjordur is one of Iceland’s most historically and architecturally interesting towns.

Day 6 - Husavík

Husavik is a beautiful town and the whale-watching capital of Iceland. Admire the wooden church, Husavikurkirkja or perhaps head to the Exploration Museum and learn about human exploration.

Day 7 - Isafjordur

Isafjordur is located just below the Arctic Circle and surrounded by soaring mountains. The Maritime Museum is a great place to learn about the history of the settlement and the importance of the fishing industry. Perhaps take the optional excursion to the island of Vigur, home to a large eider duck colony.

Day 8 - Reykjavík

Reykjavik is one of the world's smallest capital cities and boasts magnificent mosaics, spectacular sculptures and colourful houses. Perhaps visit the classic 'Golden Circle' with its lava fields, bubbling mud pools and impressive geysers on an optional excursion along with the chance to bathe in the famous Blue Lagoon.

Day 9 - 10 - At Sea

Enjoy the ship’s facilities on a relaxing day at sea.

Day 11 - Ringaskiddy (Republic of Ireland)

Ringaskiddy in County Cork is the gateway to the fashionable city of Cork. This historic city has become the lively cultural and shopping capital of the south, yet still retains the feel of a country town.

Day 12 - Cardiff (UK)

Disembark Marco Polo in Cardiff.
