The Royal Clipper - the largest true fully rigged sailing ship
in the world
Inspired
by the legendary Tall Ship, Preussen, the new Royal Clipper has
the proud distinction of being the largest and only five-masted
sailing ship built since her predecessor was launched in 1902. With
a complement of 42 sails, Royal Clipper reflects the grand age of
sail, but boasts state of the art navigation systems and every comfort
and luxury.
Royal Clipper offers the ultimate sea going experience, balancing
the tradition of tall ship sailing with the service, amenities and
accommodation of the finest modern yacht.
The
134 metre long Royal Clipper carries just 228 guests in luxurious
style, and offers a full 1760 square metres of open deck and three
swimming pools. The 3-deck atrium funnels sunlight into the elegant
dining room, with its superb cuisine and no-tie dress code.
You
can climb the mast to a 'crows nest', or swim from the stern marina
platform. Or enjoy the spa and health club with its underwater
glass
portholes.
On Royal Clipper 14 de-luxe suites offer the ultimate cruising
comfort, with private verandah, whirlpool bath and 24-hour room
service. All but 6 of the 98 cabins are outside. Their decor is
tastefully traditional - burnished brass fittings and mahagony brightwork
with soft natural fabrics reflecting the colours of sun, sea and
sky. Marble lined bathroom, private safe, television with in-house
video - everything is immaculately maintained.
Royal Clipper spends summers in the Mediterranean and
winters in the Caribbean
