Marco Polo

The 22,080grt Bahamian flagged Marco Polo with her handsome traditional profile, beautiful teak decks and distinctive dark blue hull is a fully stabilised and air conditioned classic ocean liner, extensively re-built in 1993 for the discerning premium cruise market. She can accommodate up to 820 guests and has eight passenger decks, serviced by three main lobbies and four lifts.

Exclusively for adults

For the enjoyment of our adult passengers and as very few families have travelled onboard Marco Polo with us during the past two years, from 2010 Marco Polo will be Child Free. This means that even during school holiday times you can enjoy the pleasures of cruising in the company of adult passengers only. We will however accept teenagers who are 16 years old or above at the time of sailing but they must be accompanied by adult passengers. Families will however be welcome to cruise aboard Ocean Countess although it should be noted that there are no dedicated recreation facilities for children.
