Cruise the Yangtze River and the Three Gorges

The mighty Yangtze, the longest river in China and the third longest in the world, flows for more than 3,700 miles from the snowy heights of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the East China Sea just north of Shanghai.

The Yangtze’s longest gorge, Xiling Gorge, winds 40 miles through rich canyons dotted with fruit orchards, lovely villages and historic relics.

The Lesser Three Gorges are no less stunning with magnificent peaks, lofty ridges and tranquil green water. Dragon Gate Gorge does indeed have all the drama and the otherworldly appearance of this legendary creature. Misty Gorge is beautiful with its necklace of mist. Emerald Gorge is well-known for the wildlife on its shores, as well as the emerald colour of its waters.
