Day 1 - UK – Hanoi (Vietnam)

Fly from London Heathrow to Hanoi.

Day 2 - Hanoi

On arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a special welcome dinner at KOTO on Van Mieu. KOTO gives disadvantaged youth the opportunity to train at its culinary school. Two night stay at the Movenpick Hotel. (D)

Day 3 - Hanoi

See the sights of Hanoi on a guided sightseeing tour with highlights including the historic Ba Dinh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Take an afternoon rickshaw ride through Hanoi's bustling major commercial district, its Old Quarter. (B)

Day 4 - Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

After breakfast, travel to Ha Long Bay. Special Stay - board your premium junk for a two-night cruise on World Heritage-listed Ha Long Bay, a breathtaking natural landmark. Go swimming in the crystal clear waters of Titop Island, before continuing to the fascinating Cua Van Floating Fishing Village, home to more than a hundred households. Day 8 - Hoi An

Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City

Day 11 - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City

Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during the Vietnam War. Later, explore Ho Chi Minh City your way by choosing one of the Select Experiences available. (B)

Day 12 - Ho Chi Minh City

Drive to My Tho Port and board your river ship, La Marguerite. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner on board. (B,L,D)

Day 13 - Cai Be - Sa Dec

Board a local boat to the river-land town of Cai Be. Explore its floating markets and go ashore to see the French Gothic Cathedral. You will also visit a local rice paper manufacturer to learn how it is made. Later, cruise to Sa Dec where you can enjoy a tour of Huynh Thuy Le's old house, before visiting a local brick factory and Fujian Temple. (B,L,D)

Day 14 - Tan Chau

Transfer to a small boat and explore the small tributaries around Tan Chau and step ashore for a rickshaw tour. Spend the remainder of the day aboard your ship. Perhaps watch a fruit-carving demonstration while you cross the border into Cambodia. Continue cruising overnight o Phnom Penh. (B,L,D)

Day 15 - Phnom Penh (Cambodia)

This morning, take an excursion to the infamous Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum on the site of the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21). After lunch, join a tour of Phnom Penh where you will see the Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace. After dinner, perhaps take a walk around the city. (B,L,D)

Day 16 - Phnom Penh - Koh Chen Village

Spend time at leisure this morning. Perhaps take one of the Select Experiences. Later, cruise to the village of Koh Chen which specialises in producing silver and copperware. Browse through these workshops and maybe pick a souvenir. (B,L,D)

Day 17 - Oudong - Kampong Tralach

Disembark in Prek K'dam after breakfast and travel by coach on a tour of Oudong, the former royal capital of Cambodia. Like a Local - visit a monastery where you have the opportunity to participate in a Buddhist blessing experience. Afterwards, continue to Kampong Tralach and visit Wat Kampong Tralach Pleu. Like a Local - experience a traditional mode of transport and head out on an ox-cart ride. (B,L,D)

Day 18 - Kampong Chhnang

Enjoy a scenic boat excursion into the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang. Then, head towards Tonle Sap lake. Tonight, enjoy dinner on board. (B,L,D)

Day 19 - Siem Reap - Angkor

After breakfast, disembark La Marguerite. Later, explore ancient Angkor Thom located within the Angkor Archaeological Park. See the distinctive Bayon temple, the last state temple to be built at Angkor. Special Stay - enjoy two nights at the Shinta Mani resort near Angkor Wat. (B)

Day 20 - Angkor - Siem Reap

Day 20 - Siem Reap - Angkor
