World-class public areas

The facilities on board AMA-APT Europe river ships are unrivalled in the river cruise market, with more public space per guest than most other ships.

Outdoor Decks

All ships have a choice of 3 outdoor decks, the Sun Deck with lounge chairs, shaded area and heated pool or whirlpool, a Lower Sun Deck and a cosy teak Front Deck available at all times.

Distinct and Stylish Lounges

The Main Lounge has comfortable seating, floor-to-ceiling windows and an always open bar. The front Observation Lounge is ideal for taking in the approaching sights. These combine in the evening to form an area for entertainment and music performances, as well as lectures.

Many ships feature an intimate Rear Lounge, giving an intimate and peaceful space to relax.

Entertainment on board

In the evenings after dinner you are offered a variety of onboard entertainment.

Immerse yourself in delightful performances from local musicians, singers and dancers, giving you an insight into the cultures of the regions you cruise through. These include Bavarian performers, Hungarian folklore and even a small orchestra.

On many cruises, an expert glass-blower will give an illuminating demonstration of his craft. Throughout the cruise a pianist will play soothing music in the Lounge

Shore Excursions

Small group shore excursions are included, with a choice of excursion in many ports. Your lightweight personal headset with volume control ensures you hear every word from knowledgable local guides.

Bicycles are also carried on board for your complimentary use on shore.

Other Facilities on board

The peaceful Library offers a wide selection of books, whilst a boutique Shop sells souvenirs and other items you need for your journey.

The Fitness Centre has a sauna and a range of cardiovascular equipment. Relax and pamper yourself at the Massage, Hair and Beauty Salon on board every ship.

All ships have Lifts and 24-hour staffed Reception Desk.
