Some of our collection start in Luxor, with Red Sea hotel stays available. From the historic city of Luxor, you can explore the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Pharaohs, including Tutankhamun.
You can also visit the Valley of the Queens and the Colossi of Memnon, two impressive stone statues. It is often possible to take a hot air balloon flight over Luxor.
Discover the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed God Horus, explore the magnificent Great Hypostyle Hall in Karnak which boasts 134 columns and visit the famous Kom Ombo temple, dedicated to the crocodile God Sobek.
Visit the Aswan High Dam and the magnificent Philae Temple, moved from its original position and rebuilt to avoid being submerged by the rising waters of the new Lake Nasser.
From the colourful city of Aswan, there are optional excursions to the spectacular temples of Abu Simbel, situated next to Lake Nasser.
Visits to Cairo are usually based on Giza to the south east of the city, where you find the Pyramids and the Sphinx and be amazed by their size.
The fascinating Egyptian Museum includes the burial treasures of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun. In the evening is a Sound and Light Show in the shadow of the Sphinx.
For the ultimate in luxury, explore the highlights of the Nile on a traditional 12-passenger dahabiyya on Nostalgic Nile, a recreation of a 19th century craft used by aristocrats to discover the Nile in style.
