The wildlife, geology and marine life encountered on this cruise of the Antarctic is explained and described by an on-board team of scientists and experts. Along with many other land and sea creatures, seals on moving ice-floes, albatross in flight and Megallan penguins inhabit the region.

Itineraries are intentionally unstructured following a tentative schedule allowing for moment-by-moment flexibility. Staying longer at sites of particular interest, or making slight detours whenever weather, nature or curiosity dictate, the Expedition Leader will work closely with the Captain to maximise opportunities for adventure and exploration based on prevailing weather, wildlife activity and sea/ice conditions.

Prince Albert II

Inflatable Zodiac boats allow exploration to places which would otherwise be inaccessible. They are not only incredibly safe and secure, but also provide opportunities for up-close explorations. All guests will participate in a complete Zodiac familiarisation session upn embarkation.
