Special Offer
Blue Water Holidays offers an exclusive discount of £250pp on Classic Antarctica

This 17-night cruise offers the traveller an in-depth view of the remarkable wildlife and landscape of the Antarctic Peninsula and Falkland Islands. On board, a team of scientists and experts are on hand to explain the geology, marine and birdlife of this rarely-visited region.

Exploring by zodiac, it is possible to watch Antarctic wildlife in its natural habitat at close quarters; Megallan and Adelie penguins, seals and whales and a huge variety of birds including albatross, the flightless steamer duck and rare ruddy-headed goose.

Spectacular Icebergs

Itineraries are intentionally unstructured to follow a tentative schedule allowing for moment-by-moment flexibility. Staying longer at sites of particular interest, or make slight detours whenever weather, nature or curiosity dictate, the Expedition Leader will work closely with the Captain to maximise opportunities for adventure and exploration, based on prevailing weather, wildlife activity and sea/ice conditions.

Inflatable Zodiac boats allow exploration of places which would otherwise be inaccessible. They are not only incredibly safe and secure, but also provide opportunities for up-close explorations. All guests will participate in a complete Zodiac familiarisation session upn embarkation.
