Your journey begins in Tromsø, with a leisurely voyage north. Observe the sky as you pass towards Honningsvåg. From here you may travel to mainland Europe’s most northerly point, North Cape.
We then head to Kirkenes near the Russian border. This fascinating little town allows a glimpse into life in this remote region of Norway. Here you can visit the border with Russia or try your hand at snowmobiling.
You will then embark your southbound voyage to the cultural city of Bergen, gateway to the fjords with its cobbled streets and Hanseatic warehouses. Our journey takes in the Viking capital of Norway, Trondheim, with an opportunity to join a tour of this great city with its fine examples of medieval and impressive wooden architecture.

Cape –
Europe’s Northernmost Point
From Honningsvåg a coach will take us to the North Cape Plateau where we share unsurpassed views towards the North Pole, a potentially incredible backdrop for experiencing the Northern Lights.

Barents Safari - Kirkenes
Drive a snowmobile across the frozen sea (full instruction given, driving licence required). On our return we can relax in a traditional dwelling, and enjoy an introduction to the everyday life of the Sami. Warm clothing is provided.

Kirkenes
A short tour takes us to the border with Russia, providing a distant glimpse of the lands that lie east.

Harstad to Sortland
In Trondenes see the world’s most northerly
medieval church and the Historical Centre. Coffee and pastries will be served on a ferry journey across the beautiful fjord, before you continue your journey to Sortland. Here the ship approaches under a splendid bridge as you travel high above the sea.

Trondheim Sightseeing
This tour of Trondheim and its surrounding area visits the famous medieval Nidaros Cathedral and passes by Stiftsgarden Palace, one of Scandinavia’s most impressive wooden buildings.
