This exciting short break starts in Tromsø, the capital of Arctic Norway. It is positioned at the same latitude as Siberia and Alaska, with the influence of the Gulf Stream creating the longest ice-free polar coast.
Your journey begins in Tromsø, with a leisurely voyage north. Observe the sky for a chance to see the Aurora Borealis, as you travel towards Berlevåg. From here, you will have an opportunity to travel to Europe’s most northerly point, North Cape.
This is a wild and windswept headland where cliffs rise dramatically 300 metres from the sea, with nothing but water between you and the wastes surrounding the icy North Pole; or perhaps take an exhilarating ride by husky-dog sledge across the open plains.

Dog
Sledging – Tromsø
Experience a real taste of Norway as you travel by husky-dog sledge across the open plains of Tromsø. Eager huskies are harnessed to the sledge, waiting to transport you over the frozen landscape. At the end of the trip, a warming meal in a Lavvo (Sami Tent) is included. Participants on this excursion will be collected from their hotel and taken directly to the airport or ship after the trip.
