The Tromsø Concert Hall, the Arctic Cathedral and even our ship will be among the many venues which play host to a variety of events offering us the opportunity to participate in this unique cultural event.

Beautiful Ålesund, historic Trondheim, and the enchanting capital of the stunning Lofoten Islands, Svolvær, are waiting to be explored. Enrich your visit along this captivating coast by exploring the diverse ports of call, each with its different atmosphere, vibrant history and unique charm.
In Tromsø, where we stay for two nights, the snow covered mountains provide an impressive backdrop to the festival locations. The spectacular Northern Lights could be nature’s own contribution to the festivities. Providing inspiration to painters, poets, musicians, choreographers and dancers, keen photographers will hope to capture the atmosphere of the Festival beneath the Northern Lights.
Fly to Bergen where you will be transfered to the quay. Join the ship and begin our voyage north. (D)
After making several brief night-time calls along the unspoilt coastline, you reach the delightful town of Ålesund, where there is time to explore this fascinating location. It was completely rebuilt in Art Nouveau style having been destroyed by a fire in 1904. Leaving Ålesund we head north towards Trondheim. (B, D)
Arriving in Trondheim in the early morning, there is time to explore Norway's former capital, with its brightly painted buildings and the impressive 14th century Nidaros Cathedral.(B, D)
Crossing the Arctic we reach the legendary Lofoten Islands. There is time for an after dinner stroll in Svolvaer and perhaps a visit to the world's first Ice Gallery, 'Magic Ice'.(B, D)
Following a relaxing morning on board we arrive in Tromsø, Norway's Arctic capital and transfer to our centrally located hotel for the next two nights. Free time to join local events. (B)
