Morning free in Aswan, perhaps enjoy one of the optional excursions available locally, such as the Nubian Village. Alternatively take an optional excursion by air to Abu Simbel - one of the most amazing ancient sites (bookable prior to departure). Evening transfer to the station for the overnight sleeper train to Cairo in basic two berth compartment. (B,L,D). As an alternative, we recommend transferring to Aswan Airport for afternoon/evening flight to Cairo and overnight at the Movenpick Pyramids resort for just an additional £149 per person.
