Day 1
Venice, Italy

Embark Le Boreal in Venice.

Day 2
Sibenik and Split, Croatia

Arrive at the picturesque harbour of Sibenik and visit nearby Krka, an ancient town founded by Croatian Princes in the 9th and 10th centuries. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Split is renowned for its variety of archaeological, historical and cultural monuments - take a tour of the Diocletian's Palace, browse the thriving markets, or relax in characterful cafés.

Day 3
Korcula, Croatia

With its charming old town, medieval architecture and white stone towers set against the lovely red roofed houses, Korkula's delightful squares, palaces and narrow alleyways are a pleasure to explore.

Day 4
Kotor, Montenegro

The lovely fortified town of Kotor is found in a series of bays surrounded by dramatic limestone massifs in a magnificent region of Montenegro. Kotor's city walls enclose a well-preserved medieval centre, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5
Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik, known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', is considered the most beautiful city in Croatia with its stunningly-preserved medieval palaces and city walls. It is surrounded by the deep blue waters of the Adriatic and has a distinctly laid-back Mediterranean feel, with cafés and fish restaurants lining the cobbled streets. Walk the city walls and visit the Franciscan Monastery, explore the 15th century Dominican Monastery, or discover nearby Lokrum Island, famous for its Benedictine Monastery and idyllic beaches.

Day 6
Hvar, Croatia

Hvar is the longest, sunniest and most beautiful Croatian island. Hvar was a Greek colony, known as Pharoah's Lighthouse and was also an important harbour for fleets of ships from Venice from the late 12th century. Visit the Renaissance Cathedral, a former Arsenal, St Stephen's Cathedral and the Franciscan Monastery, all bearing witness to a rich history influenced by Gothic and Renaissance art.

Day 7
Pula and Rovinj, Croatia

Pula was originally the Roman colony of Pollenta, and around the town are numerous Roman monuments including the beautifully preserved arena which could seat 23,000 people; the Temple of Augustus and the Hercules Gate, the town's oldest monument. Cruise on to discover Rovinj, a pretty and interesting old town with small squares dominated by elegant Gothic and Venetian palaces, and a bustling marina - home to fishing boats and modern yachts alike.
