Yasawa Princess was purpose built in 1987 to cruise the Pacific Ocean islands of Fiji. Today, the ship cruises the Indian Ocean islands of the Maldives. At 180 feet long and 35 feet wide, the Yasawa Princess can carry 66 passengers and 25 crew. Dress code is shorts and swimwear during the day and casual dress in the evenings both on board and on the deserted islands
Cabins
33 compact, non-smoking air-conditioned cabins are spread over three decks, all simply furnished with double bed or two singles, wooden accented furniture, en suite shower with WC, air conditioning, personal safe and 240V power outlet. Main Deck cabins have a porthole. Cabins on A and Bridge Deck have a deck window.
Facilities
On the Saloon Deck, there is a large air-conditioned lounge with soft furnishings and big screen television for viewing DVDs and client downloaded camera images, a sundeck with sun loungers, and undercover bar and dining area with panoramic opening windows to can enjoy the desert island views framed against the azure sea. The ship offers buffet-style meals with international cuisine.
Self-service washing and drying facilities are available on-board. There is a photo shop and souvenir corner. A first-aid kit is kept on board. Smoking is not permitted in the cabins, or any enclosed area of the ship. A smoking area is available on the aft Bridge Deck.
