Additional Information
  • Yasawa Princess is not suitable for those with mobility problems
  • Children under the age of 21 are not accepted
  • SCUBA diving can be arranged aboard the boat, at a cost of USD$45 per dive. (PADI licence required)
  • Snorkelling equipment can be rented at a cost of USD$6 per person per day
  • Climate: November to March is hot and sunny with the occasional tropical shower. Rainfall can increase between April and October but is generally tropical downpours followed by sunshine
  • This cruise follows the North and South Itineraries on alternate weeks
  • The detailed itinerary is indicative and subject to change, and at the Captain's discretion as a result of weather or other factors

North Cruise Itinerary
Day 1, Sunday
London/Male

Depart from London on your flight to Male.

Day 2, Monday
Male

Arrive to Male Internationial Airport, transfer by dhoni to the MV Yasawa Princess for overnight.

Day 3, Tuesday
Kuda Bandos

Snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing at Kuda Bandos. Evening underwater marine slide show followed by bridge and card games. There will be a check dive in the morning plus an afternoon dive for Scuba Divers.

Day 4, Wednesday
Maniyafushi

Cruise to sandbank in the morning near Maniyafushi for swimming and snorkelling. For divers there is one local dive in the morning and one in the afternoon. Sunset Cocktail Party on the Sandbank and later in the evening a competition for the best photograph of the day above and underwater.

Day 5, Thursday
Meerufen Fushi

Morning sail to the desert island of Meerufen Fushi. Spend the day snorkelling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass bottomed boat. Divers will have two dives. Night fishing trip.

Day 6, Friday
Hagnameedho

Cruise to Sand Bank for swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon take a visit to local island of Hagnameedhoo for sightseeing and shopping. Both morning and afternoon dives for divers. BBQ dinner in the evening on the sandbank at Dhiggiri.

Day 7, Saturday
Dhiggiri

Visit to the picnic island of Dhiggiri. Spend the day snorkelling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass bottomed boat with picnic lunch. Early evening Night Fishing followed by Captains Dinner.

Day 8, Sunday
Male

Set sail in the morning and stop at a sandbank en route for last swim and snorkel. Return to Male for shopping and sightseeing in the afternoon. Slide show of the best photographs of the week.

Day 9, Monday
Male

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer by dhoni back to the airport for your international flight, or extend your stay at one of our superb beach resorts.
