Day 1
UK - Singapore

Overnight flight from London to Singapore.

Day 2
Singapore

Arrive in Singapore and embark Costa Romantica. Singapore is a vibrant financial and commerce centre with high-rise buildings, magnificent oriental gardens and excellent shopping. The famous 'hawker centres' offer the food of its many cultures.

Day 3
Singapore

Singapore has a noticeable British influence, from its Cricket Club to the famous Raffles Hotel. Explore the Botanical Gardens or search for shopping bargains on Orchard Road. Soak up the atmosphere in Chinatown or Little India, maybe take a trip on the Singapore River.

Day 4
Port Klang, Malaysia

Head for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital, and see the main Merdeka, the Moorish-style Sultan Abdul Samed building and the train station, complete with minarets and cupolas. Stroll the narrow streets of Chinatown, and see the soaring Petronas Towers. North of the city are the Batu Caves, with 272 steps up to the main Temple Cave and the 40m-high statue of Hindu deity Murugan.

Day 5
Langkawi, Malaysia

Langkawi is the main island of a group separated from mainland Malaysia by the Straits of Malacca. Langkawi Island has been awarded World Geopark status by UNESCO, which includes three visitor parks. Another attraction is the cable car to the top of Gunung Mat Chinchang at 705m above sea level.

Days 6 and 7
Phuket, Thailaind

Thailand's largest island, Phuket is noted for its superb beaches. Patong is the most well-known resort with a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops and vibrant nightlife. Nai Harn Beach is one of the more beautiful beaches with the Samnak Song Nai Harn monastery dominating the landscape. Cape Panwa beach is situated to the south of Phuket City and surrounded by a hilly area with marvellous views of the Andaman Sea.

Days 8 and 9
At sea

Relax on board Costa Romantica as she makes her way to Sri Lanka and enjoy the wide range of facilities.

Day 10
Colombo, Sri lanka

Colombo is the economic and cultural capital of Sri Lanka, and has been an important trading post for centuries. The Pettah Market area has interesting buildings, including the candy-striped Jami-ul Alfar Mosque and the Khan Clock Tower, where traders specializing in gold and jewellery sell their wares.

At sea

A day at sea and time to enjoy the excellent facilities on board Costa Romantica.

Day 12
Cochin, India

The Indian city of Cochin is noted for the distinctive Chinese fishing nets used at Fort Kochi, stretching 20 metres over the water and needing six fishermen to operate them. Just outside Cochin is Mattancherry Palace, which was once used for the coronation of Cochin's Rajas. The walls are decorated with outstanding murals depicting scenes from Hindu mythology.

At sea

Relax at sea as Costa Romantica sails on the Indian Ocean.

Days 14 and 15
Male, Maldives

The island capital of the Maldives is a jumble of old and new buildings. Browse the local markets and Chaandanee Magu for gifts and souvenirs. The coast is excellent for snorkelling, with atolls close to the shore. A wide variety of restaurants serve Western, European and Asian food.

Days 16 and 17
At sea

Sailing on to the Seychelles perhaps choose a book from the on-board library and relax in your cabin, or enjoy a sauna in the Wellness Centre.

Days 18 and 19
Mahe, Seychelles

The Seychelles are considered to be among the most beautiful islands in the world due to their picture-postcard white beaches and stunning underwater scenery. Their stunning landscapes are characterised by exotic flora and spectacular mountains.

Days 20 and 21
At sea

As Costa Romantica cruises the Indian Ocean, admire views of the sea scattered with tiny islands and relax.

Day 22
St Denis, Reunion

St Denis is home to a fine botanical garden and the National History Museum, where visitors can find out about indigenous animal species. The city has two museums of modern contemporary art and the handsome church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Deliverance, whose principal attraction is the statue of Saint Expedit, permanently bedecked with red flowers and ribbons.

Day 23
Port Louis, Mauritius

In Port Louis there are many shopping opportunities which range from lively little street markets to a large shopping area on the seafront with fashionable boutiques. Visit the Natural History Museum which is famous for its dodo skeleton exhibit, and Fort Adelaide, which offers splendid views of the city.

Day 24
Port Louis, Mauritius

Disembark Costa Romantica in the morning before being transferred to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
